An excellent pairing with the Cobb rear mount would be our 80 durometer side mounts. We offer them in a package to save you some money too! Here is a link to them.

Thanks,
Sabrina

Side Mount Package 88 Durometer [MS3SIDES8088] - $355.00 : James Barone Racing, Custom Fabrication

i saw another pair but with 88 duro for transmission side mount.

any reason to have 80 on PMM and 88 on other side?

thanks

It just depends on what your goals are and your tolerance for noise and vibration. There's really no reason not to go with the 80 passenger and the 88 transmission mounts.

@jbarone; your desire to sell parts must always overcome the brownness of the browns....

....but damn it must be hard sometimes.

JBR 02-18-2015 02:28 PM

We were all brown once. I don't differentiate.

@jbarone; It's a pleasure. I have the TRZ motor mount. Which TMM and PMM would be best for my 2012 MS3?

The 80 sides are a really nice pairing with the TRZ rear. If your tolerance for NVH is high, then the 88's are going to give you the best performance.

Is there any sure fire way to tell if the main bolt has been tampered with on a used pmm?

Every mount has had tamper paint applied to the washer, nut and end of the bolt. If it was tampered with, the paint would be disturbed and misaligned.

TRQ STEER FTL 03-11-2015 09:20 AM

I noticed the paint but it doesnt looked scratched up or anything but its just kinda smacked on all over the nut and washer. Not like a straight line to tell if its been turnes or anythinf. Ill have to post a picture when i get off work.

If you all really want a great mount, just go with the 88's. Little more vibration but it calms down after a month. Great mounts all around!

@jbarone; Another question I have the TRZ RMM and TMM. I am looking to complete the mounts with your PMM. Which would be best for my 2012 MS3?

The 80 would be the best to compliment the mounts you already have.

Simple. I was asking advice on a purchase then I wanted to save money but the JBR mounts keeps my attention so I asked for a second advice. Ending, I purchased my JBR PMM. @jbarone; does a great job staying active on the forum to answer questions.

Actually, in the first question be only has the trz rmm. Then in the second he has trz rmm & trz tmm.

But why would they change their answer?

Knowledge...the reason being is that I read about 88 and I know it's more about vibes but it's just the thought, making sure I am still on the right path with making a good decision.

Truly, I did not intend to repeat myself. It is more like I don't know the level the TRZ mounts are on (duro) so I wanted to make sure I am making the right purchase still.
