JBR Vented Can In the Works?

Looks like JBR is making some updates to his OCC to give it a venting option. Not sure what the pricing will be, but I like the idea. If I wasn't already running an SSP, I'd seriously consider this.

A retro fit venting option is a great way to let people upgrade their OCC.. Great way to bring this out, rather than making peeps ditch there original kit.. Very cool

It's a nice option to have available. It's not for everyone but, for those that get to the stage that they need the vented can, they can add it to our already great performing OCC.

It includes a nice small dry-flow filter, a cap for the intake manifold and the intake hose. A tee is included to tie the PCV hose and the hose from the Cam Cover together as well as installation instructions and torque specs. lol. I did not copy this kit from anyone, it is our own design and has been thoroughly tested.

Note that this kit is designed to work specifically with our catch can kits. It utilizes components from our kits as well as additional components supplied with the VTA kit to make it work. It's possible that it will work with other OCC's but I can't say for sure and additional parts may need to be sourced.

They should go on sale tomorrow.

I'm willing to be the guinea pig on this one.

My buddy has your OCC, but he went with a different hose kit for aesthetics. So I took the hoses from your kit and put them in my car. So I'm guessing the hose length should at least be right, considering my OCC is installed in virtually the same location.

I'll be on the lookout for those instructions. I was looking for them before I ordered, but they obviously weren't up yet. If it doesn't work out, at least I know my buddy can use it.

I just received my MD OCC in the mail yesterday. I can supply pictures of everything it includes later today if you want.

The venting option is really growing on me. I love that this works with the incremental build path that most people follow. Closed can for early stages, then vented for BT or bolted/e85 K04s. At $45, this is a steal

I think it'll come down to the number of clamps needed. Otherwise it should work.

I have had the vented can on my car now for about 3 weeks now, and its great! The set up alone is impressive. I am happy with the routing of both the lines from the VC and the PCV. I have not had any issues with it what so ever. I have yet to drain it since I have had it (doing so later tonight or tomorrow).

All in all Its easy to install, the can is out of the way of everything.

I am extremely pleased with this product! Great work once again Jamie, you know I cannot express this enough!
