My sway bar is just a bit over 8lbs. The stock bar is just under 10lbs.

Thanks,
Jamie

its always nice to add performance while saving a little weight.. I would be all over this if my car wasn't already garaged for the winter

sweet talk him a little more and he may install it for you!

Mine's on base too (new building across from commissary); same color without the JBR logo and with stock wheels.

79BlueSC 12-12-2010 04:40 AM

Sway bar installed. It feels great man! Took prob 35 - 45min (Mainly because I couldn't find my damn allen wrenches lol) That car feels great, can't wait to really put it to the test when I get my summer tires on!

Now, to adjust it can you just undo the end links or do you have to take the whole bar out for the adjustment?

I do love it though so thanks Jamie (Now I just want a decal! )

That's great!! I'm thrilled you like it.

You will need to undo the mounting brackets to have enough play to adjust the end links. I would start with the center setting until you get used to it then adjust from there.

PM me you address and I get a decal out to you.

Thanks,
Jamie

Ordered mine this morning! looking forward to putting this thing on and seeing how much this improves my daily commute! Didn't get the knob but will be ordering that when I get back in town in a couple weeks

super_pablo_ 02-22-2011 08:23 PM

got the swaybar installed a few minutes ago. Great quality. I have only driven for a bit, a left turn, u-turn and then a right turn... I felt the difference very nicely. Cant wait to take higher speed turns and take the car to a road course.

mroclimbr 02-24-2011 03:12 PM

Hey James. I just bashed CP-e for their price increase on their motor mounts. I told them I might just throw away my CP-e rmm and put yours in out of spite. Make me proud.

You know I will!! I can't wait for everyone to check it out.

finally order mine....just now...
i hope installation isn't that bad...

Evan9999 04-17-2011 12:00 PM

After a lot of research, I couldn't decide on a rear sway bar. I have your SSP with bushings, which are really good quality and work amazing! So, because of the past experience, I decided to buy your Sway bar. Can't wait to get it and install it :)

AJ713 05-03-2011 12:05 AM

Finally ordered your RSB and EGR block off kit! Will probally replace my trz rmm with your 80 duro billet rmm as soon as you release the driver and passenger mounts as a complete package....rear cambers are on my list now, just need new suspension first.

Thanks Mate!

So I'm EXTREMELY happy with my RSB! Thanks again for yet another awesome product. I'll be waiting for something else to come out and so I can buy it!

I started at the suggested middle setting. The RSB made the car A LOT more neutral in the turns and body role has been noticeably reduced. I feel like I can take turns faster and more confident. Also, I can put more power to the ground on turn exit. I've been able to promote slight oversteer a few times. The first time was in the rain and when that rear end kicked out, what an adrenaline rush!!!! I made it out safely with some quick counter steering but WOW so much fun!!!

I'm just about at 300 miles on the bar so I just got a big tube of lube (synthetic). Time to lube up those bushings. This may be a retard comment, but I should I be lubing up the inside and outside of the bushing? Or do I just lube the inside? LOL Thanks!!!!

I can't wait until my next track day at Mid-Ohio in July!!!!

Spirry 05-06-2011 11:36 AM

Just ordered one... Hopefully my new stickies and this bar will show up before the next auto-x.

Well short of the next autocross I have been doing some testing. Got to say I love it! Running full stiff and I really like the extra flickability. Simple install and no problems.

xbox4414 05-21-2011 11:57 PM

Are the mounts for the rear sway the same thru all years a models? Speed vs non-Speed?

bushings are the same end links are different.

xbox4414 05-24-2011 11:27 PM

So technically any bar from any of the years 07-09 MS could work on a Gen2 MS3?

No, not at all the case.

I got a chance to do a track day at Nelson Ledges Road Course last Sunday (7 20-minute sessions for $100). It's definitely nowhere near as nice as Mid-Ohio but it was only $100!! The car performed great and I could definitely feel a noticeable difference with the new sway bar. The car handled more neutral on the middle setting. I think I'm going to try using the stiffest setting and test it out for a bit because I would like a little bit more oversteer. Thanks for the sweet product...keep 'em coming!!!

JBR 06-15-2011 12:20 PM

$100!! Man that's a great deal!
