(Thread Starter) | Neutral : +1 score New Product Release!! 2006-2013 MS3/6 & CX7 EGR Valve Delete Kit! The JBR EGR valve Delete Kit removes the entire EGR valve resulting in more horsepower and keeping carbon and soot build up from occurring in your DISI engine. The EGR System recirculates dirty, hot exhaust gasses back into the intake resulting in a significant build up of carbon deposits on the valves. This build up will eventually lead to a loss of compression, loss of horsepower and ultimately leading to costly and time-consuming repairs to correct the problem. By adding the *JBR EGR Valve Delete Kit and removing the EGR valve, horsepower is increased! Cooler, denser air makes more power and recirculating hot exhaust gasses back into the intake is robbing you of that power! Removing the valve also increases the space needed for going big turbo plus, it really makes for a clean looking engine build. Our EGR Valve Delete Plate is CNC machined from 1/2" 6061 aluminum and includes a brass coolant line fitting, a 304 stainless plug and all the necessary mounting hardware. Achieve the highest level of protection against carbon and soot build on your valves up by pairing the JBR EGR Valve Delete Kit with one of our Oil Catch Can Kits. Application: 2006 – 2013 Mazdaspeed 3/6 and CX7 Features:
JBR EGR Block Off Kit Includes:
*There is a possibility of an intermittent CEL from bypassing the EGR system. This will not effect engine performance or longevity. The CEL can be easily cleared with a scan tool such as the VeraTuner or the COBB AccessPORT. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Just some after install updates, all is well and working great. As usual, happy with the product. Not sure why, but my bolts were about 3/8" or so too long as you can see in my pic. Don't mean to blast ya in the open, just fyi. As you can see I just made due until I get around to shortening them. uploadfromtaptalk1434005863159.jpguploadfromtaptalk1434005870093.jpguploadfromtaptalk1434005892153.jpg

| Not Ranked : 0 score @jbarone; here are some pics I hope this helps. About an 1/8" too long I said 3/8" that was my bad, earlier mistake grabbing the wrong bolt lol. I posted a pic of the parts and it appears that the replacement plate is a little thinner.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I have no explanation for why yours won't thread in all the way. Our GEN 1 and GEN 2 shop cars both have these plates installed and i had no problems with the OEM bolt length. Our website report shows 1541 of these sold to date and this is the first time I've heard of this issue. The plate thickness has not changed since day one either. I'm perplexed... Again, anyone else run in to this problem? |

Is yours a 2007 built in 10/2006? Because if so, my Christine was built then, and the demon took over the being that is my car. Everything is evil on my car. True story. I bet if I had measured my egr bolts, they were short like yours. Maybe you have a demon in your car too. | |

| Not Ranked : 0 score You can turn off via scan toll or Cobb. Emissions wise... you will not pass. However that goes for almost the majority of the bolt ons people perform to these cars now a days. Now if you do not have to worry about emissions, (like myself), then have at it or... do the common thing and buy buy buy and when it comes time to smog, return to stock. I am not trying to start a debate, just giving you my experience with another great product from JBR.

| Not Ranked : 0 score What is the point in the "Coolant line plug"? i noticed your instructions for installation does not include this plug. is this for turbos that do not require water cooling?

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but I have an 06 ms6 and the hose coming off the egr valve ended up being too short to work with the delete. It didn't appear to to be cut but I suppose that's a possibility. I ended up running out and buying a longer hose.

| Not Ranked : 0 score The hose length issue may have been just my car, or maybe on other 06's. I was wondering about the little plug myself.
