Arrow New Product Release!! 2006-2013 MS3/6 & CX7 EGR Valve Delete Kit!

Details:
The JBR EGR valve Delete Kit removes the entire EGR valve resulting in more horsepower and keeping carbon and soot build up from occurring in your DISI engine.

The EGR System recirculates dirty, hot exhaust gasses back into the intake resulting in a significant build up of carbon deposits on the valves. This build up will eventually lead to a loss of compression, loss of horsepower and ultimately leading to costly and time-consuming repairs to correct the problem.

By adding the *JBR EGR Valve Delete Kit and removing the EGR valve, horsepower is increased! Cooler, denser air makes more power and recirculating hot exhaust gasses back into the intake is robbing you of that power! Removing the valve also increases the space needed for going big turbo plus, it really makes for a clean looking engine build.

Our EGR Valve Delete Plate is CNC machined from 1/2" 6061 aluminum and includes a brass coolant line fitting, a 304 stainless plug and all the necessary mounting hardware.

Achieve the highest level of protection against carbon and soot build on your valves up by pairing the JBR EGR Valve Delete Kit with one of our Oil Catch Can Kits.

Application:
2006 – 2013 Mazdaspeed 3/6 and CX7

Features:
  • Designed, Engineered and Manufactured in the USA
  • Black anodized finish for long-lasting corrosion-free protection
  • Increases space for larger turbos - Simple bolt on kit

JBR EGR Block Off Kit Includes:
  • EGR valve delete plate
  • Coolant line fitting
  • Coolant line plug
  • 2, 8mm x 1.25mm bolts
  • 2, 8mm lock washers
  • 1, clamp
  • Installation instructions are available in our support section
  • Shipping is free in the US & our Hassle Free Lifetime Warranty is included

*There is a possibility of an intermittent CEL from bypassing the EGR system. This will not effect engine performance or longevity. The CEL can be easily cleared with a scan tool such as the VeraTuner or the COBB AccessPORT.

Old method kept egr, just blocked it. This allows full removal of the Evil Gunky Reject.

It is what I would have preferred to do, that's why bummer.

Thank you for offering the full delete option.

you'll need to disable the code it throws using a tuner such as the accessport

I don't have a tuner now, so I'll renew my reg this month and then get it and have a year to get a tuner. Thanks for that.

We've been so busy. We have a machining window so, we're wrapping back around getting to some things that are long overdue.

Just some after install updates, all is well and working great. As usual, happy with the product. Not sure why, but my bolts were about 3/8" or so too long as you can see in my pic. Don't mean to blast ya in the open, just fyi. As you can see I just made due until I get around to shortening them.

We've never seen that issue before. Those bolts should thread right in and tighten up the plate just fine.

We'd be interested and in knowing what length bolts you have there?

Anyone else run in to the this?

@jbarone; here are some pics I hope this helps. About an 1/8" too long I said 3/8" that was my bad, earlier mistake grabbing the wrong bolt lol. I posted a pic of the parts and it appears that the replacement plate is a little thinner.

I have no explanation for why yours won't thread in all the way. Our GEN 1 and GEN 2 shop cars both have these plates installed and i had no problems with the OEM bolt length. Our website report shows 1541 of these sold to date and this is the first time I've heard of this issue. The plate thickness has not changed since day one either. I'm perplexed...

Again, anyone else run in to this problem?

I have an odd ball car I guess lol its noticeably shorter in the pic, the oem bolt to the bolt you supplied. It happens, no sweat off my back just thought I would share the info. On a separate note... Any sales coming up on your meth inj. kits by chance? My bats are screaming living in a area where 103-105 is normal haha

Is yours a 2007 built in 10/2006? Because if so, my Christine was built then, and the demon took over the being that is my car. Everything is evil on my car. True story. I bet if I had measured my egr bolts, they were short like yours. Maybe you have a demon in your car too.

So far everything has been odd, I wouldn't doubt it for one second. The whole smoke out the tail pipe thing has been following me around and I took all the proper steps just to get a letter recently saying certain vin mazdas had a recall that the oil feed lines to the turbo were just slightly too big. Well, the plus is I even bought a new turbo because of the smoke. Still smoking lol Now I am making my own bolt to feed less oil. If this don't work, maybe it's part of our early bird curse. Because Racecar I guess.
@Raider; By the way, she's a 08

LOL.... Wait!

We don't supply any bolts with that plate. Where did you get those bolts from? I thought the short one was one you cut? You're suppose to reuse the oem bolts. Now I'm super lost....Lol

@Raider; I know, trying to track down the tool. Its not consistent smoke, its at idle every once in a while. Its been this way every since I got her yrs ago. I did a comp. test and got 161 dry and I cant remember but I think 183 wet. Just waiting for the leak down tool. Might just buy one. Fingers are crossed when that day comes, she just turned 60k.
@jbarone; I don't wanna lol

If you got your car used, it would explain the wonky bolts. Previous owner rigged it to sell. If not, weird.

Used from a dealership, not stressing it. Just providing feed back as a good customer should

Thhought: we get the P0401 code with the secondary deleted. Is there an addition code with the primary or is it the same code?

If it helps any... I have been running this product sense the day it was released. I have the same code and can be disabled so your cel goes away. To my knowledge, that should be the only cel that pops up however somebody correct me if I am wrong @jbarone;

It will never go away officially and if deleted or turned off officially, emissions failure is high.

You can turn off via scan toll or Cobb. Emissions wise... you will not pass. However that goes for almost the majority of the bolt ons people perform to these cars now a days. Now if you do not have to worry about emissions, (like myself), then have at it or... do the common thing and buy buy buy and when it comes time to smog, return to stock. I am not trying to start a debate, just giving you my experience with another great product from JBR.

What is the point in the "Coolant line plug"? i noticed your instructions for installation does not include this plug. is this for turbos that do not require water cooling?

I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but I have an 06 ms6 and the hose coming off the egr valve ended up being too short to work with the delete. It didn't appear to to be cut but I suppose that's a possibility. I ended up running out and buying a longer hose.

Just installed mine and the hose was on the shorter side but I managed to get the house on and its leak free so far. Still wondering what the plug is for though... It's not mentioned in the instructions.

The hose length issue may have been just my car, or maybe on other 06's. I was wondering about the little plug myself.
