(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score New Product Release!! 2007 - 2013 Mazdaspeed 3 Under mounted FMIC Piping Kit!! JBR Under Mounted FMIC Piping Kit, 2007* - 2013** Mazdaspeed 3 for TreadStone TR8, TR8L or TR6 Intercoolers The OEM top mount intercooler is sufficient for stock horsepower but, for those wanting to make more, it simply isn't capable of providing the cooling capacity necessary. To make more power, the OEM top mounted intercooler needs to be removed and replaced with a larger front mounted intercooler. The JBR Under Mounted Front Mounted Intercooler Piping Kit for the 2007 – 2013 Mazdaspeed 3 makes that possible, easily and more effectively than any other piping kit on the market. The JBR Under Mounted Hot Side Piping Kit is designed to fit all clocked OEM/BNR and most big turbo setups. Routing the piping beneath the motor reduces the amount of hot side charge piping by 12-16% when compared to other kits on the market. Reducing the amount of piping decreases turbo spool up time, reduces boost temperatures and makes for an impressive, almost sleeper looking engine bay. The JBR kit is constructed from mandrel bent 6061 aluminum piping and 7 layer hi-strength thick walled silicone hoses and couplers. All of which is tucked neatly above the belly pan. Routing the piping beneath the motor reduces the amount of hot side charge piping by 12-16% when compared to other kits on the market. Reducing the amount of piping decreases turbo spool up time, reduces boost temperatures and makes for an impressive, almost sleeper looking engine bay. Upon exiting the intercooler, the cool boost air enters another one piece, high strength, thick walled silicone hose and travels from there, all the way to the intake manifold. Silicone has a very low heat transfer coefficient so, the hot ambient air in and around the engine bay will not be able to penetrate through all of the layers of silicone therefore, the cold air you just spent $800 to get cool, will stay cool. All other kits currently on the market have several couplers, elbows, and connections long before ever reaching the intake manifold. Not only does that make for a difficult installation but the potential for leaks is drastically increased. Application: 2009 – 2013 Mazdaspeed 3 Best when used with a Treadstone *TR8, TR8L or **TR6 Intercooler All kits will include coolant and vacuum hose necessary to clock your turbo. Features: - Designed, Engineered and Manufactured in the USA - Black wrinkle coated aluminum piping - Mounting bracket to secure the piping beneath the motor - 7 layer High strength, thick walled silicone hoses and couplers - Stainless T-bolt clamps JBR FMIC Piping Kit Includes: - Hot and cold side piping - BPV Adapter flange and mounting hardware - 8 Stainless T-bolt clamps - 1 mounting bracket for hot side piping - 1' of coolant hose - 1' of vacuum hose - Waste gate actuator & coolant Pipe mounting brackets (OEM/BNR KIT) - TR8 and TR6 Mounting Brackets* (2007 - 2009 ONLY) - Installation instructions are available in our support section - Shipping is free in the US & our Hassle Free Lifetime Warranty is included * 2007 - 2009 Mazdaspeed requires core mounting brackets that are included with this kit **2010 - 2013 Mazdaspeed with TR8 intercooler requires a crash bar. 2010 - 2013 TR6 intercooler requires mounting brackets but no crash bar. | Not Ranked : 0 score Too bad i ve just recently got installed a front intercooler and wont be able to get this JBR one for a while ..i guess until i ll ubgrade my turbo and then i ll need a bit bigger intercooler kit to support the bigger psi ..its no doubt that this kit is a lot smarter by definition in all aspects , very good job JBR!! U guys have also the best MM kit it was well worth to take down the previous "brand" and go with the 88Duro oh yeah |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I guess this kit will work with a larger inlet turbo (4") with just an adapter. If it does this kit may risk becoming the last FMIC piping kit you will ever need.

| Not Ranked : 0 score New Product Release!! 2007 - 2013 Mazdaspeed 3 Under mounted FMIC Piping Kit!! Anyone have a picture of a clocked BNR3? The JBR instructions show a stock turbo being clocked and the small difference is throwing me off, on step 6 page 4 I can't determine if that's how it should look or if that's where I start before clocking. This is after clocking the turbo as you can see the actuator bracket doesn't fit like this. Here is a picture of the instructions. This is how I figure it actually fitting, but I'm likely wrong. | Not Ranked : 0 score New Product Release!! 2007 - 2013 Mazdaspeed 3 Under mounted FMIC Piping Kit!! Found this diagram and the EM connects from top. so yes it's definitely pointing in the wrong direction. So from the instructions it should be facing this way but the problem is the actuator bracket doesn't fit correctly. This hole doesn't align to bolt up the bracket. @jbarone; can you please point me in the right direction on clocking the BNR3? Thanks Sent from my iPhone

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score ^^You nailed it Sir!^^ Tweaking and adjusting the actuator arm will be necessary for the bracket to come in to place. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I didn't bend the rod, I just placed the bolt on the right hand side of the picture and forced the bracket to be able to fit the second screw. JBarone says you can bend the rod but I haven't tried it yet. Likely need to bend the tip of the rod upwards and should give a little better clearance so it doesn't feel so forced. (Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score This will do it. Bend the main section of the rod up and the very end down a bit. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score You can loosen the jamb nut on the actuator rod to get the end to rotate if needed. |

Do you think the Corksport turbo is compatible with your kit, but I am glad to bring humor to your day instead.
