(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Oh Noes! FML. I drove around on that for two months; It finally decided to shear at 7:30 in the morning hahaha. I'm pretty sure I didn't tighten it that much, but I guess the evidence suggests otherwise  @jbarone, Looks like I'll be ordering a new stud and Hex piece. I could probably find it locally but I'm not sure about the hex piece and really don't feel like fishing the stud out of the current one.For the time being I put the plate off and placed the factory weight back on. Holy Jesus... it feels like I'm driving my father's old '88 Ranger (Or maybe one of the snowplows he works with). If you think the shift plate makes a big difference when you put it on, try taking it off and you'll really appreciate it. I have to keep reminding myself that my transmission is synchronized and I don't have to double shift
