4" maf housing

I think you may have reached the limits of the SB capabilities at this point.

If you go larger, you'll have to tweak the MAF xfer table in order to maintain closed loop calibration. And in open loop, you'd have to scale up the MAF voltage quite a bit to get proper afr's.... which would just force you to peg again.

Your at the point where you need to actually redefine the MAF table.

You'll need to raise the idle rpm if you want to go larger... Much past 3.25" and the signal gets too noisy below ~1000rpm.

The highest I've logged with is 21psi...I was hitting 25~27psi before realized I was pegging the OEM MAP, but wasn't tuned(still no KR though), so I never logged it..

IIRC the highest maf voltage I see at 21psi is only about 4.5v.. ricer math puts me in the mid/low 400hp range...lol

Once it warms up and I get some meth I'll start getting serious with the tune and turn it back up..

OP is stating that a 4" maf housing is necessary at his current boost levels. To make any more power, he needs a larger maf housing.

Is 3.5" the biggest it goes? Cause usually they have like 0.125" wall thickness, so you end up with a 3.25" intake.... which is what cagey is maxing right now. I suggest 4" for anyone who plans on pushing similar limits.

I'm currently running a 90mm id on mine just wired it in with the new iat(the maf I'm using only has the air flow sensor no iat integrated) and it seems good but it only starts idles and revs. It's not driving yet just have to finish some more wiring and I can finish tuning it. Good luck with the 4 inch want to see the out come and if u go ap or not.sub'd

treadstones 3.5 is 3.25 ID. hes going to need a 4in. OD would prolly be perfect.

Oh, and cagey is doing this without nitrous. It's all boost. Nitrous doesn't affect the maf sensor, so it essentially goes under the radar as far as the ecu is concerned. It's also a wet shot so the fueling isn't bothered either.


Hows the new setup coming along? When will you be running?

Got the Cp-E maf housing yesterday, the flywheel will ship tomorrow :-) I will probably start working on the car this weekend. Ship my ecu to cp-e beginning of next week. I´ll order the cp-e injector seals as soon possible. Try to get them before i go to the dyno.

Hope to have the car running again at the start of februari... You now you´re the first to now

I killed a Suzuki sports bike on the way back home this evening. I really don't know jack shit about bikes but the guy saw me fly past him (I was playing with my toy), I slowed down and was about to get off an go home when he pulled up and revved at me. I was game and pulled up next to him and we both took off. I pulled him pretty bad and slowed down and rolled down the window. He gave me a thumbs up and we went on our separate ways.
