(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Aussie BT build  Stock block gen 1, with an IWG GT3071 mod list: CPE 3.25" MAF + CPE BT 3" TIP ATP GT3071 (ported Internal Waste Gate) 2XS FMIC (local guy who makes his own parts) SteedSpeed Exhaust Manifold Best Mufflers Dump Pipe (local group who does heaps of work on MINE's GTR's) Grimmspeed EBCS James Barone Rear Sway Bar Sure Street Rear Engine Mount AutoTech HPFP Forge BPV V2 RX8 Series 2 Wheels (18x8+50) Cobb Access Port + Custom Tune from PERM tuning (in progress) by @atvfreek Few pics: before/after turbo shot engine bay: front of car now: well earned: Rims on car (taken by phone... rather than other which are DSLR): thinking they might need to go darker... also, i am struggling to get a decent photo of car side on... simply due to crappy lighting conditions  thanks to @LittleredMPS + other friend for putting it together for me... also @eric@edgeautosport + @JP@edgeautosport.com for quite a few parts  kritz likes this. (Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score well, minor update on this... @atvfreek is earning his money on this one seems there is something going on with car that's hardware related... for some reason the car just wont hold boost... had issues with EBC, so swapped to MBC, even with a MBC car doesnt behave (logs attached) VD picture below so, currently am trying to work out where the restriction is... got a boost leak test done, couldnt find the needed parts based on here: How-To NATOR A Boost Leak Tester for $15 so went to local performance shop, and they did it to 30psi, no leaks  suggested it might be blocked cat/exhaust, but their dyno is booked out till october, so cant really check it out as to what is causing restriction... but they want to chuck it on there to see if it's exhaust/cat/something else that's causing restriction going to see if i can hit up a local exhaust place to get cat checked in the mean time... at one point lost FMIC couplings and ran pig rich for ~30 miles on the drive home... so blocked cat is a possibility... as a FYI, AFR's of 9-8 stall your engine :p |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Sam, when I get to my home PC this afternoon, I'm going to send a map over with a little something I'd like to try. I just had another guy on MBC that had a spike to 26.5psi when trying to hold 24 and we actually got it sorted by using the throttle plate. The AUS throttle plate opens a lot further than our US cars but I'd like to see if we can tame down the spike the same way. Only other hardware that I can think of is a clogged cat. Especially seems how you know there is no boost leak up to 30psi.

AFRs were spot on, car was perfectly drivable... Got home for the night, waited till morning... uploadfromtaptalk1351549496407.jpg Circlip has popped off IWG Guess if you're going to fail, do it in ways that have people scratching their head... Flapper still moves freely, so, looks like fun and games ahead for me
