| Not Ranked : 0 score I think you will be in good hands at efi. Chris comes highly recommended by Christian at Cobb. He worked with christian early on when the AP was made available to us and he is a great tuner. Once I get all my parts bolted on I will be making the drive to CT to let efi tune my car also. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Bri - you know i like you. Your a sexy man bear pig. I just meant that i feel bad because its going to cost a couple hundred to get subpar results. I guess I don't understand how someone can charge so much knowing it can't do what the person is paying hoping it will do. |

| i have just spent so much time and money and im honestly happy with what i have for now. Like i said when i get a built motor ill be at your door but whats the point of selling my cobb stuff just so i can try and go for the same power. too me its not logical right now. I wanna enjoy my shit for a while. I only have like 2000 miles on this setup. and yes 500 for a tune is an absolute rip off. But thats the going rate and when i got my tune the stand back was just ehh last year. no one really had any results. Had i started my build this year i would have never used the ap. Id much rather support cpe especially cause they are full of good guys and our local awesomeness. and jake you are awesome too. u have my heart remember |

| Not Ranked : 0 score i'd say more on the lines of 350 awhp....lets see
i love u all ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Sebb, you are stock block and NO 1 wants you to blow. you have an AP right now and if money is an issue then do what you gonna do. If you are willing to take a chance sell the AP for 500 to 550 and instead of paying 500 for an AP tune you will have that 1000 bills to get yourself a SB and some flashes and make better power. I'm taking pics of my CAI tonight and posting it tonight. I hope I can get you the loot soon so I can help you out. I'll see you tomorrow. CAN'T FUCKIN WAIT TO DRIVE/BE TAKEN FOR A DRIVE INTHIS THING BRO. see ya tomorrow

lets just race one on one so we both have one person. or i can get my Gf from collage tomorrow night and meet up?? i kinda prefer to race during the day were there is good visibility but its up to u. The races will only take a few seconds since 40-120 is only 10 - 11 seconds and 40-140 is 15 -16 seconds. go out and time ur logs. that should tell u. thats not guestemates thats recorded in logs | |

| Not Ranked : 0 score after MUCH frustration...and hitting a load cap with just my mods....i now like my AP and tune...it is an ugly hack but it works. Some ECUs don't appear to hit said cap but even if they don't, there is still a wall beyond that. OP get a SB + Flashes and save yourself alot of money and frustration.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I would not count Cobb out just yet. There are rumors they may come out with more soon. I have never dynoed my car but I ran 13.3 @ 107 on stock size street tires a few weeks ago. I have no traction in 1st or 2nd now, more HP is going to do what? If you're wanting bragging rights to the most HP then you're driving the wrong car.

| Not Ranked : 0 score The ATP turbos will struggle to make great numbers (although they will make tons mid range) because of the size of the turbine housing! This is why I NEVER recommend buying a an ATP speed flanged turbo. The .5x back housing just chokes up top. They will make decent power but not comparable to their t3 .82 counter parts. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Actually a better strategy would be to get a turbo that breathes well in the higher rpms, and then run lower boost in the lower rpms (or take advantage of longer spool times). For a motor with weak rods (ours), you want to minimize large torque spikes in the lower rpms, and instead focus on maintaining that torque on through the higher rpms. e.g. instead of seeing 375 ftlb of torque at 3500 rpm and 275 ftlb at redline, maybe go with a larger turbine that feeds your 340 ftlb at 3500 and 325 ftlb at redline.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Along those lines, I was thinking about getting a new turbo and am trying to decide what to get. I am NOT going for big power, just having a faster and safer car on a stock block. I don’t need spool at 2500 RPMs as with the K04, we already have torque. I currently have my TRLs dialed waaaay back below 3.5k I need mid to upper RPM power. When you shift you stay between 4500-6+ RPM, entering each successive gear round 4500. That’s where I want the sweet spot on my turbo to live. I do want earlier spool than that for mid gear throttle mashing at lower RPMs but you get the idea, right? So with that said, is something like a 2871 the ticket or go with something bigger like a 3071? I don’t know chit about reading efficiency islands on a turbo graph so can someone educate me? P.S. I want to keep my AP if possible hahahahahaha. So don’t suggest a turbo that needs too much more fuel LOL!

| Not Ranked : 0 score Get a GT2871. Makes good power and will spool faster than that GT3076, but try to get ball bearing(you CAN get a custom Garret turbo made, it'll just cost more $$$) |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Problem with going bt on our platform is if you decide to get a drop in replacement (atp), your more than likely gonna have boost creep issues, so you need to weld the IWG shut and go EWG. And if indeed you opt for a different turbine housing, your looking at a mostly custom manifold an down pipe. It all adds up quickly lol. But IMO it's the right thing to do.

I suppose that is somewhat adjustable with timing changes to increase EGT, but is that ball park?
DJ you know I hate EWG VTA hahahaha

| Not Ranked : 0 score It should be fully spooled by less than 3500, but unlike the K04, it'll make amazing power till redline. I'm not sure when you hit full boost however. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score is that your 3076? Even if they are not ported enough for the 3076 maybe they are for a 2871 due to its smaller size?? IDK Anyone out there running any of the newer ATPs without creep?

| Not Ranked : 0 score Thats my 3071. The 2871 has an even smaller turbine size, so it would require even more exhaust flow out the wastegate in order to control boost i would think. For the porting to be effective, you want to increase the turbine A/R, or clip the turbine fan a bit. I'm not 100% sure. Someone can buy me a bunch of turbos to try out though
