What other options are there for going EWG other than the ATP .55 hotside? Obviously t3/t4 steedspeed EWG Mani is needed but what DP would work? ATP vband? So you could go t3 mani gt30/gtx30 with vband and ATP DP? If not what other options are there for EWG?

Holy shit! The car is so quiet with the big turbo!! It's the decency itself! I have never ever saw that coming! Even at 10PSI you can barely hear a whine coming from the turbo!

So after reading this entire thread. It seems that I can do BNR S3 on my stock MAP and stock BC while staying under 22.xxPSI with no problems and a etune? My car is DD, what is the max PSI of the BNR S3? Will I need a new clutch?

can someone give me a quick list of what i might need in addition to exhaust mani, intake mani with meth injection, cs cams, gtx3076, 3 bar map/harness, pistons and rods, studs, bearings, seals, tune, motor mounts, intake, 5th/6th port injection? ive already got most of the bolt ons like fmic, dp, exhaust, bov...and reccomendations or advise would be great!

don't forget oversize exhaust valves (+3mm should do the trick), VVT delete, battery relocation, rear suspension helper springs, and upgraded water pump.

This is a great post. Thanks for spending the time to put that list together, its just what I need.

I have tangential questions. So once you start making 400 hp or whatever...what starts breaking? Do the CV joints hold up? Can the clutch handle the torque? Can you pass emissions? Are stiffer engine mounts absolutely necessary to prevent wheel hop?

I did a big motor swap on another car a few years back and the domino effect was substantial.

I'm.doing my gt3071 build right now and injector dynamics said there is no upgrade to the injectors on my car because the stock ones cannot be increased in enough to warrant making an aftermarket direct inject injector for my 2008 MS3 disi turbo....what do you guys think of that?

You've got a lot of reading to do your grasshopper.

Quick summary, NO MANUFACTURER makes larger aftermarket injectors to replace OEM injectors. If you max out the OEM injectors and need more fuel for your goals, you will need to buy injectors. Except these injectors will not replace yours, they will be in addition to.

Read, read, then read some more.

If you are asking basic ass questions that have been asked thousands of times, you're going to have a bad time.

Why are you going with a 3071? What are your power goals? What engine internals are you going to use? Who will tune you? What device will you use to tune? TMIC/FMIC? etc...

You have a lot of other things to learn about first, before you even think of going PI on this platform.

But that's the great thing about MSF, all of that knowledge is here, you just have to search and read.
