Default BNR check list

I've read all the stickies and done dozens of searches. I just want to double check my work before I actually start the swap, so I don't have a week of downtime waiting for some stupid part to come in...

Already installed:
Corksport DP and resonator
HPFP
CPE intake and COBB TIP (being replaced by PRE)
COBB AP
SU rear engine mount and rear diff mount

On hand:
BNR S3
All new studs
Manual Boost Controller
EGR block off and delete
SU TMIC
3Bar sensor and harness adapter
HTP 3" intake and battery tray for 51R

On it's way:
3' 6AN hose and ends, and also a 1' 6AN hose and ends (read both, not sure why, but better safe than sorry)
New exhaust gaskets for both ends of the turbo and new studs

Anything else I'll actually NEED before the install?

I might buy a new set of gaskets before I start (I hope to not remove the exhaust mani, so I'll not order that up... is that ok?)

It sounds like I might need some oil and coolant lines? I can't find any good hard info on this...

After it's all up and running I'm going to start Stratified tuning.

Anything else????

This was my list for a BNR and DP install, but you can figure out what you need just for the turbo, good luck.

Why MBC? You'll need a 3-Bar if you plan to exceed 21.5 psi and a bigger MAF housing.

Extending the heater hose that runs under TIP is one thing i wish I did when I installed mine... Still planning on doing it when I switch over to a 3"+ intake... Larger intakes put a LOT of strain/rubbing w/ the beaner since it sits slightly different than the k04

Edit: also put some heavy duty clamps on that hose

You will want to stay away from the MBC. Either get a 3 port or Boost Dial (Boost Dial works with the OEM 2 port BCS).

You will want a larger intake - 3" is recommended to avoid cuts.

If you have poor fuel in your area and depending on your power goals consider either E85 or WMI.

The other bits and pieces that help bolt the turbo on are well covered in several posts mentioned above ^^.

Also don't overlook the tune as it is critical in tying it all together.

I got my MBC from Stratified, I believe it's the correct MBC to keep the stock 2 port. I think you're the one that recommended using a MBC with the OEM BC, saying it's very effective.

I forgot to mention (and edited my original list), that I did get a 3" from PRE with a new battery tray

I have 93 grade around here... might do a full tune for 93 and 91 with stratified.

My power goals are only about 330 ish with 93 and 300 ish with 91.

So you go the Stratified Boost Dial? If so you are golden.

It shouldn't cause an issue since the stock hotside is used. It could possibly be slighty better than a bell-mouth style DP, actually, due to the divorced design. It may become an issue on larger frame turbos, but I'm not sure if anyone has run that DP with something like a GT30 or larger.
