(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  BNR / GTX30 hybrid So I picked up a bust up GTX 3071R that had a bearing failure, for under $100. Billet compressor wheel, AR.60 housing and backplate are still good, but the centre shaft, bearings are damaged. So I can’t use the turbine wheel coz of the fucked shaft. Didnt come with a turbine housing. So that got me thinking... would it be possible to fit the GTX coldside to my BNR Stage2 CHRA and hotside? Guessing the backplate might need a bit of machine work to mate up to the CHRA. The BNR2 and 3 use the same CHRA and turbine wheel. The compressor housing is the anti surge housing with 4” inlet. Just wondering if the cold side will be too big for the hotside? Should be a fun turbo if it can work. Thanks.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I actually talked to Brian about putting a bigger billet wheel on the s3. His response was that I wouldn't see any gains because the s3 turbine would be the main restriction =/.
