BNR S3 install day!

Well after about a month of stockpiling parts and doing my research it is now time to begin my BNR S3 upgrade and put it all together. Ill keep yal updated if I hit any snags. If yal have any advice or pointers feel free to post them up.

The parts are:
BNR S3 Turbo
CPe safe seals
TWM short shifter replacement
Grimmspeed EBCS
Gaurdian Angel
JBR EGR block-off
6an stainless steel braided hose
Exhaust mani-turbo gasket
Dp-turbo gasket
Block-exhaust mani gasket
Saikou michi occ
Sure return hose
RAYS steel lug nuts (black)
JDM squash air freshener

Looks good man. Just take your time and try to keep the fail at a minimum. Haha. Also make sure you have some coolant to top her off once installed.

Probably Cobb Plano. I'd rather get an tune from one pf our guys on the forum but my work schedule just doesn't give me enough time to do it on a timely manner.

Gotcha. And this is going to be on straight pump no meth or anything? It'll be cool to see what Cobb can make with this turbo. Make sure they make you a video of the dyno.

Yep straight 93. I will be running Meth in the future but as of now it will be straight pump. I'm definitely getting a video of the DYNO. I'm hoping for 330 HP.

Cobb will tune your shit good man.. Im sitting at 300 whp and 300 wtq (13 PSI) at the moment with my BNR.. cause my fuel pump was shitting out, (This is also on a AWD Mustang Dyno.... Ill be going back up there either the 10-11th of aug.. just caust my next to weekends are booked..


if you can make it till then we can cruise together lol..


If not, thats kool too lol.. Calvin will hook your tune up if you go the cobb route.

I can't wait to see the numbers! I'm going to be heading up there Thursday unless they are available Wednesday. Ill already be back at work by that time unfortunately.

Id be surprised if you get in thursday or weds.. i usually have to schedule at least a week in advance... granted i usually tune on a friday or saturday.. so who knows what its like during the week.

yes we were able to. Just had to unplug one coolant line and it slipped right in.

Turbo is totally in and front mount is installed also. I did not enjoy doing the front mount and the added heat doesn't help.

Ok so everything is hooked up but I'm guessing I messed up somewhere on the vaccine lines. I have no leaks on the dp, turbo or mani but I can't get into boost but maybe 3 psi. I don't know what's causing this issue but I need to figure it out. Also the fuel tank is nearly full of 2 month old 93, for you think that the fuel is ok? Any ideas guys? Or maybe a diagram on how to hook hoses up to the BNR with the grimmspeed 3 port EBCS . Thanks!

For the 3port, you want port 3 to the turbo, port 2 to the wastgate actuator and port 1 to the tip or vta.

If the EBCS is giving you trouble just run a boost source line straight to the wastegate and make sure you have the 12-14psi the spring is rated for just to rule that out.

EDIT: I see the GA in your picture Have that setup and tested and set to ~22 psi when doing all this boost control work since one wrong vacuum connection can lead to a lot of overboost.

You can see the connection to the line is under where the EGR is, that's the one i pulled out.

My AP and boost gauge will not climb over 0 boost but I can hear the blow off when letting off the gas. Not sure what is going on here.
