Default Bnr3 leaking?

Well for starters I have a 06 speed 6. The k04 started smoking. U get the picture. I want to start by thanking everyone for your help and posts so far. They have gotten me where I am today. I went the path of bnr stage 3 and started tuning with stratified. I am only getting like 15 or 16 lbs of boost. Ok I should be getting around 20 or more with my setup. (Cobb sf Sri-cx front mount-internals-tip-tigs-injector seals-all motor mounts-catless dp- corksport catback- jbr stage 2 occ-and with bnr also added 3 bar map and Cobb 3port ebcs. All bolted u would say. So I went searching for boost leaks using smoke and soap multiple times. I did find one at bpv and replaced o rings. I did find smoke comming out of back of turbo. It's around the compressor housing and middle part. Is this normal is that a bad seal? It takes no pressure( me using lungs only) for smoke to come out. This is only leak left.

Any thiughts

I should add that I was getting boost spikes of 19lbs on same set up minus 3 bar 3 port and bnr stage 3. Only small amounts of wastegate added at most I think 20 up high

This is a new one. With the bnr branded tabs around them. So it is the culprit.? I do not want to change it out again dam

When I read this before I thought it was just on exhaust side and the new tabs were going to fix it. I guess I was wrong. Lets see how Brian handles it.

So have some better bolts with lock washers and lock tight fixed it? That's what everyone else seems to have done. But mine seems tight. Could it be a housing issue is what I'm worried about
