So here we go.... I guess I am jumping on the wagon and building a 3071r grocery-getter..... As soon as I get home I will post up some pics of stuff I have gotten so far and i will be posting pics and before and after dyno sheets

So far I am working with:
Gt3071r w/ t3 hotside (going to have to get a 5bolt to t3 flange)
38mm tial ewg
Grimspeed ebcs
Steedspeed t3 38mm exhaust mani
I think I will need a 3 in to 4 in coupler for my short ram.....

I think that may get me started.... I will have to do an inventory and make sure I have everything I need

If anyone reading can think of other stuff I may need.... Please let me know.... I just love blowing money

Haha nice! Which downpipe are u running? I have a TurboXS and I know I'll need either a new one or an adapter like your gonna run thought I remember u saying u had a TurboXS. Lmk if u ever need help man I'm not that far away and I'm an extra set of hands if u need em!

I'm confused by what you mean by "5 bolt to t3 flange." The only thing that t3 means is where it connects to the manifold. I believe you are talking about this: T3 5 bolt (Ford style) Turbine Housing for GT Turbo : atpturbo.com
Are you thinking of getting a 5-bolt to v-band adapter?

You'll need coolant fittings: 14mm Banjo Fitting Set for coolant lines - 3/8" Barb : atpturbo.com

Oil inlet with restrictor: -4 size Oil inlet fitting for GT28/30/35R with built-in restrictor : atpturbo.com

90* swivel so the feed line isn't sticking straight up: Fitting, Swivel, #4AN Flare, Male to Female, 90D : atpturbo.com

A couple of oil drain flanges (one for turbo, one for block): Oil Return Flange with integrated -10 Flare for GT15 Through GT35R : atpturbo.com

The oil drain stuff is just a suggestion. You can get a custom length stainless steel braided line if you like and not run push-lok fittings.

Alright, you have me more confused, haha. That hot side has a v-band flange...why don't you want to keep it? Not to mention, if you try to add a flange to v-band, it's going to stick out really far.

I've been curious about doing a t3/5 bolt mazda flange, but I didn't think anybody made them. Can't you just get the v-band downturn part and have someone weld it onto your existing downpipe? Maybe the one leen is making?

Yeah Kyle, you should call matt at Htp and see what he can do, I'm sure it will be pretty cheap... Get a proper t3 set up, that would be great!

All you gotta do is chop of the bellmouth and have someone that can Tig add a v-band. It's pretty simple.

Brian - He doesn't need half that shit you posted up. He would need that if he were making his own lines for the turbo, but you should be able to just reuse most the stock lines.

What you need for the adapter is this backwards - V-band Module, Stock Mazdaspeed6 Turbo to 3" V-band : atpturbo.com

Or you could just buy a vband flange and have it welded on your downpipe... I'm sure that wouldn't take long, and there wouldn't be much downtime.

So it doesn't matter to Kyle as he already has a mani coming, but I was under the impression that a twin scroll only really benefited a twin scroll turbo?

Yeah, the link is for a twin scroll hot side for the 3071 - I was under the impression that a TS exhaust housing + a twin scroll mani was all you needed for some TS goodness? Or are there other things too?
