Default Christmas in February....

Received my 3071GTX today from JP@ Edge Autosport. Looks like I got the revision with the lower profile bolt near the oil feed so no grinding. It does look like some port work has been done near the mouth of the turbine. Still has somewhat of the crescent moon shape under the WG flapper.

All I'm waiting on now is my CP-E 4" TIP, and my "Pablo" ported factory intake manifold. I cant wait to see the IM, should look awesome.

For those that have had their turbine housings Swaintech White Lightning coated. How much did they charge you and what was your actual turn around time?

Can't wait to make some big power !

swaintech's website has prices listed. Totally worth it.

I just used the VHT 1200* high temp silicone paint on my turbine housing. Probably didn't do much but peace of mind.

Sent my turbine housing off to Swaintech, ordered a Steedspeed manifold. Thought about going Full Race, but it's $250 more.... couldnt find it in the budget.

Attached are a couple pics from Pablo aka Speed6 Killah who ported my intake manifold.... he did an awesome job!

I'm considering sending off the intake manifold to Swaintech for their TBC coating as well. Has anyone done that? Supposed to be a better heat barrier compared to regualr ceramic coating,

I believe the white lightning coating can reduce heat by up to 40%. I've seen tons of guys running it and I will be doing the same some time in the future though with having aftermarket cooling systems and functional hood vents I don't need it, cooler engine, turbo, manifold etc is always a good thing.
