Default Cobb or cp-e FMIC?

I'm trying to decide on which FMIC I want to buy. I want to do a BT build next summer so I am just trying to get the supporting mods for right now.

I wanted some input on people who have used these with a BT build.

For a BT FMIC you're better off getting custom.

Def custom for a BT setup.

You can probably put one together for less too.

I used Cobb V2 Piping kit and a Treadstone TR8L core. Worked great and I am happy as the cobb kit worked with my MSCAI. I didn't like that CPEs core is off center of the car.

I can't speak of the Cobb, but I'm still running the CPE fmic w/ my GT3076, and it's been fine. I will easily hit 400awhp with this set up once I'm done tuning, and I have to live within the limits of the stock clutch, so that's where I'll be. I'm 15whp uncorrected from the 400 mark now, and running pig rich.

I was going to go custom TR8, which I may next summer. It depends what I feel like doing next year, and although the CPE is a bit smallish, it's not keeping me from my power goals.

pick up a used CX racing kit

and if/when you go BT, buy a new core, and make changes to the piping as needed

Default Stock Clutch Limits

Does anyone know what the stock clutch limits are? I am having my engine rebuilt now and am wondering if i should thow in a CP-e upgraded clutch while im at it. My current clutch only has 28,000 miles on it so it has plenty of life left on it.

I searched for this answer around the forum and could not find it... I am a newbie though so have not really found out how to search efficiently yet.

Any insight is appreciated.

Thanks
