Driving no wastegate?

Using external.wastegate on hotside of my 3071gtx..waiting for elbow cuz wastegate is too big with the dp there..is it.dangerous to drive.even a little bit with.no wastegate?.. I wont.be.boosting just.granny it home..I keep getting mixed signals

You will get a shitload of exhaust gases in the engine bay, not sure if this can fuck things up from excessive heat.

if you block it off youll spike and boost all over the place

And if you leave it open you won't run because you won't have AFRs, if you can keep it from stalling you'll just hydro lock the motor as it thinks it's running super lean.

Edit: on the plus side I don't think you'll have too much to worry about heat or exhaust fumes as I doubt the motor will function long enough for those to become a problem lol

I wonder if the car would even start with a huge hole in the system like that.

I personally wouldn't drive it, but if its a necessity, don't go near the throttle

It starts and I moved it in the driveway but I might.just take the.safe route and.leave it there until the elbow for the wastegate.comes in

Does it have an internal wastegate? Or blocked off?

Ewg not blocked off at the noment.cause im.waiting on a part.. so theres just a hole there and its very loud as expected lol so no wastegate at moment

I thought the wastegate would fit the down pipe dosent let it.get there.by just a little..and ordered the parts.before I started building but.k04 finaly went lol

So I just went straight.to throwing the turbo in and the dp killed me by a hair lol

if the internal wasgate is still there and not welded shut, you may just remove what maintain it closed and plug your EWG port to run almost n/a without any issues.
