EWG Housing for 3076..Anyone running this on a MS6?

Anyone running the ewg housing here Externally Wastgated Turbine Housing for Mazdspeed 3/6/CX7 - GT3071R/GT3076R : atpturbo.com ?

Is fitment NP for the MS6? Any issues at all?

I'm allso wondering about a possible brace for the 3076. I forgot about mani's getting cracked back in the day... thanks for the reminder Aviator. I'm looking for something simple, and quick here. I want to order this shit this week and get this fucker installed in the next two weeks and be done. I was peeking at the GTX3076's, but it seems a little pricey with no tubine housing and such... has anyone bought one of these yet?

i was debating a 35r but i really need something that will mate to the dnp ex mani i have. I was looking into the gtx and this as well

I would look into the GT3076r with the divided exhaust housing (.78 a/r) and using one of SteedSpeed's new Twin scroll EM. Either Top mount or stock location. Leen and DJ are working together to get the setup working.

Will not fit the speed6...... should fit the speed3.... the reason it will not fit the 6 of course if the transfercase..

I just ordered a twin scroll 3076 for the DJ top mount set up, so I don't need this anymore anyways . Thanks for the info though... good for MS3/6 folks to know!

This CAN work for ms3. I was going to go this route myself, but changed my mind. I eye-balled down below the engine bay and did some measurements, and the oil return line coupler that screw into the turbo, might have clearence issues with the 38mm Tial mvs that your would put on the housing.

I could be wrong, I did the best I could to see how it would fit, and came to that conclusion, at the very least it is something you should keep in mind.

You should be fine on the speed3 for the return line!! That is an easy fix!!

Yep....just a obstacle in the way is all. My current atp oil return line,thecoupler screw on sleeve would hit the housing of the wg, but ofcourse-clocking the turbo and or changing the line would get around this, as well as other ideas made by people much smarter in fabwork that I lol

Thanks man! I did the responsible thing w/ what was left of my 401K loot and paid off my car, so I'm dirt poor once again :/. I'm hoping to scrape together the loot for the rest of the needed parts in the next couple of months. It'll take some time, but it's gonna happen. Once I sell the CPE DP I have FS, I'm throwing in the difference for the steedspeed mani. Then DJ DP, etc... after that. I want to do the injector seals first too.

Yeah, but I had to pull it and it wasn't a lot anyways. I got laid off, was behind on property taxes, had huge car payments, etc. So I took care of all that, paid off the car, and dropped $1,250 on my CPA review materials which will be here this week. Once I get that in the next 6 months, I'll be fine. I'm not getting it the 3076 installed until I'm done, or have passed 2/4 exams and have already at least taken the 3rd exam with confidence. I'm leaving the 76 on the floor in my place here as a motivator to keep my nose in the books .

Ah yeah, forgot about the CPA thing. You should be able to provide for yourself with that
