Default finally going BT!!!

So as the title says im finally going bt. Gonna buy my pistons and rods next week first. Going k1 rods with wiesco pistons. Also doing the balance shaft delete and egr delete as well. Ive been talking with alan over at edgeauto and hes hooking me up pretty well. Just wanna make sure i have it all though. Its pistons, rods, overhaul gasket set, cometic head gasket, crank pulley bolt, friction washers, front oil seal, rear main seal, main bearings, rod bearings, arp main studs, arp head studs, the balance shaft delete kit and egr plate correct?

The turbo im going with is between the Gtx3071 or gtx3076...im still undecided. I know im gonna need a mbc, the safe seals, 3 bar map sensor and of course a bigger intake. Any of you know which intake i should use. Jbr wide mouth or the 3.5" from sure? I wanna get this done right. Any feed back is greatly appreciated

i'm using the htp 3" TIP with the 3" treadstone MAF with a filter on the end of the MAF so it's an SRI setup. I got the 3 bar map sensor from edge motorsports and the map sensor plug and play harness from matt jackson.

I went with the Sure Full 3 aeros for my GT3076. I would also recommend going with the grimmspeed or Cobb EBCS

Or a sweet Stratified EBCV: Mazda 3 Port Electronic Boost Control Valve [MAZ 3P EBCV (0100-0005.1)] - $85.00CAD : Stratified Automotive Controls

Finally remember that the injectors run out of fuel around 400-420whp and you will need a source of additional fueling. However with 93 pump gas and no methanol or E85 it will be hard to make more than 350-375 due to the knock limitations of the motor and that is around the 23psi mark on a GT3071.

The intake to get for the 400whp power level is 3-3.5"

I have e85 down here. I am currently tuned by Justin. So a 3-3.5 inch will be fine then. I also gotta find that plug and play map sensor

In the big scheme of things there is very little difference between the 2 turbos. Think about your power goals first and let that be the decision maker.

The BNR S3 supports around 400whp (I know you are not considering it but thought I'd mention). The GT3071 is efficient to around 450whp, GTX3071 to around 475whp, and GTX3076 to around 500whp but the exhaust side will be limiting at this point and to go above that 420whp you still need either a lot of methanol or 5th port injection.

The more power the turbo supports, the slower it will be to spool.

Definately not bnr. Reason im leaning towards gtx over gt is due to the ewg and boost creep problems the gt has. Would running e85 be a solution over meth or 5th port?

E85 will be great for knock but sucks up fueling head room.

So in the long run a 5th port would end up cheaper huh
