Like Jackis said, I am no longer on this setup but I am still on the stock block (check my sig). The GTX3071 is a great turbo!

Really, the only thing you need to make it work is a turbo inlet pipe that fits...

I still think you should've left it alone. That car drove perfectly IMO, it had just the right amount of power and spool for FWD in order to maintain control and still not be laggy. Good luck with the new setup though! Call me once you get it dyno tuned and tell me the nasty numbers you get out of it.

Oh believe me, I know! The perfect turbo for this car is the GTX3071 hands down. This was just an opportunity I couldn't pass up. When I get around to getting another turbo, I will probably either get a GTX2867 or GTX3071 again to switch out for when I go to the track (road course that is). I still may end up selling the HTA3586 and getting a GTX3076 for altitude friendliness... We will see how it goes after some tuning and some dyno numbers...

I put 25,000 miles on that turbo at 386whp and 400wtq. When I switched between the GTX3071 and the top mount HTA3586 I checked compression. In Denver (5280ast), I did 165, 165, 145, 165 from cyl 1 to cyl 4. So 20psi low in cylinder number 3 after 25k miles. I've been running the HTA3586 for the last 7000 miles and its making 410whp uncorrected (503 corrected). There are 102,699 miles on the car now.
