(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Hey guys so i have my K-04 off and out of the car. On the bottom of the turbo when it is in the car it has a pretty heavy bracket that supports the stock turbo. The bracket bolts right to the engine block. The ATP kit doesn't have a hole to bolt the bracket back in place. So is the weight of the turbo just held by the exhaust mani and DP????? and i noticed that the vacuum lines going to the waste gate actuator are much bigger on the new turbo. if anyone could give me some advice it would be alot of help thanks!! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score If you're not using a weak manifold, then it needs no brackets. I'm using the stocker, no brackets here. Btw look forward to slow boost response. Preload the turbo all the way, might need to cut the rod a little bit too.

| Not Ranked : 0 score when you go garrett turbo you add supports to your custom manifolds to support turbo and you bracket the downpipe and dump tubes all those things hold it in, you dont have a dump tube with internal gate so scratch that. But as they said there is no bracket what you get is what you get. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score doesn't sound like you're really prepared for some of the macgyver type shit you gotta do on this install to get it right. It's not 100% drop in and go. It takes some ingenuity and parts runs.
