Default Help me pick a turbo setup

This is for a 6, k04 is on its way out.
I may aswell do the turbo setup now and build when funds allow.
Aiming for 550+ (when built and meth) with hopefully little lag on the spool time.

Was thinking of going down the precision route but I'm a total novice when it comes to turbo's (slowly learning). Will a decent twin scroll be better to reduce lag and still have decent top end?
I've also been looking at the 5858 and 5862.

Any help would be appreciated.

I was going to suggest the 58xx precision line. It will be the closest to doing what you're asking.

A twin scroll would be ideal but you're looking at a custom manifold since there really isn't one for this platform, and that gets hairy due to fitment and quality

Would the hta need a custom mani?
If there's no twin scroll bolt on option for our platform. I think the 5858 or 5862 may be a good choice.

you can fit a ATP hotside to one. A different hotside might flow better but mine is stock flange.

I'm going with an HTA3076 in the near future and all the research I've done shows they offer insta-spool and the best transient response of any turbo on the market. You can order one from Edge AutoSport with a bolt up ATP hot side but if you're eventuallu shooting for 550+ then I'd suggest going the same route I am which is a tial v-band flange. The CPE mani can be ordered with this flange and will allow you to run an EWG without having the pointless IWG on the hot side locked out. Tial's compressor housings are reasonably priced from several suppliers. The only thing you'll need to get fabbed would be the down pipe.
