I would try adding about 10% fuel pressure from 4K to redline... There's no knock, but your still a little lean..

You need to put -10 in the cells in the fuel pressure map not +10..

3a. got a dyno done most made was 287/ sb(pnp) no flashes, no tune, only 15psi(ewg spring) no meth.
3b. dyno printer was down i will have the charts up as soon as i get them

I'm no tuning expert my ANY means, but your 2nd log graph just looks a little off to me. You got a big knock jump, and your boost pressure spikes like a Guido's hair on J.S.. Feel free to tell me i'm wrong and explain the answer though, I enjoy learning.

the kr is no big deal its only up to 0.7 not bad. but the boost is fucked and i have no idea why. your guess is as good as mine. imma do some sb logs instead of dh tomm afternoon.

austin if ur running the grimmspeed EBCS thats your problem

like i used to tell people in a diff thread. Me and anthony had gotten protuned with the grimmspeed and had zero success. Huge boost spikes. boost all out of wack etc. it was unfixable and my tuner said don't use grimmspeed on the mazda. people never listened and just said ohh thats cause it was not a mazda specific. well i talked to grimmspeed the other day and he said they are identical to the suburu. Maybe they work on stock turbos and maybe they don't. but i know for sure i have not seen anyone successfully tune one with a big turbo.

also austin if ur boost is dropping off by redline u have the same issue i had when i had it hooked up to the compressor housing. Try running it at the manifold and u kinda get a boost creep but its steady, consistent and works great. less tq down low but as the boost rising with rpm the power and tq do also. It is perfect in my cars scenario

I have a 16 lb spring. On the compresser housing i would boost up to 18 and then work its way down to 16 at redline. When i hook it up to the manifold it goes from like 18 and works it way up to 20 and if its cold 21 at redline

i have the grimmspeed but its not hooked up. i am running off the ewg spring only(1bar).not sure what your talking about here....

the last 3 posts before i wrote u that explain what i was saying. I read nothing previous. i just saw they saying u had huge boost spikes and boost drop etc. if ur on only spring pressure it should not spike

so i know i havent been updating this like i should but car is running great. just need to get the flashes and stop running on 14.5 psi. then ill be golden. any way i went racing this weekend and got beat by a car that no one needs to be beat by and it put a bad taste in my mouth so imma be looking to get the flashes soon. so more to come from another BT sb tuned car with flashes.

ECU SENT TO CP-E FOR ALLLLLL THE FLASHES....

should get it back in a couple days and gonna up the boost and fuck aroud with it. with a lil help from jake..

then in 3-4 weeks will be making a drive to cp-e and getting a no shit tune. so look forward to another great ms3 on the road.... thanks to all that follw my thread and progress.

Some advice....

Buy extra injector seals... I have to stay under ~20 psi or mine pop and that's with just the flashes and no tune...

I think you still don't realise how much power your going to pick up just with the flashes...

Just go to home depot and pick up a big bag of cement, mix it up, and slather it on your head around the injectors. Once dry, begin tuning.

im a step ahead. while the ecu is gone i put gorilla glue on um. lol
if only billy mayes was around he could make mazdaspeed mighty injector seal puddy....

so i got the flashes back and hooked the ecu back up......

in saying that im not going to post a review or anything till i talk with jake at cp-e and get some things figured out. i am also going to be upping my boost to 20-22 psi in the next week

also videos will be posted soon. i am going to cp-e at the end of the month/ first week in june to get tuned.
