HTP 3.5 heater hose wtf

So I ordered this from edge racing however I cant install this do to the heater hose coming in contact with the coupler like its not long enough ? Wtf do I do ? This is for the bnr s3

You need to extend the hose or pull it off the barb an inch or so.

Pain in the ass gonna have to hit up auto parts store this should be included in the kit if this is a known issue im my opinion

Just head over to ACE hardware and get a hose mender and some extra heater hose and your golden. We all have had to do this. Try installing the 4" HTP intake, thats an even bigger pain in the ass to install with that stupid heater hose.

It will fit. Extremely tight, but I have fitting with my HTP 3.5 on a 3071r and it fits. It's definitely not easy, but it works.

I extended the hose and now it fits perfectly. Napa had some heater hose couplers for like $1.

Finished the install we'll have to see how it pans out overall first impressions were the car already felt smoother and more pepppy.I really hate working on our cars there's littery no room.

I also upgraded the 3bar map sensor and again no room to get my big fat ass hands in there lol took me like 40 mins haah

Just make sure that the intake is pushed in to the couple as far as possible. When I did mine, I thought it was in all the way when it really wasn't and the intake would keep popping off. Keep an eye on that coupler though.

Indeed lol I took off the damn coupler like 5 times my ocd kept telling me no its not right.I know its solid trust me lol.htp battery tray fits very nicely oh and btw its easier to put the coupler on the intake first rather than putting on the turbo inlet I found that out the hard way im sure you guys can relate to this.

Just ordered an htp 3.5 intake anyone know what size fitting I need to extend that heater hose?

I believe it's a 5/8".

5/8" hose, about 3", and a 5/8" hose connector with clamps. HTP actually sells it all as a kit for $10. Check out their website.

But it is usually cheaper at a parts store, plus less waiting.
