lets start off by saying I am going BT out of necessity cause I have bad seals on my k04, figure I'm only gonna do the work once might as well go balls out. I do plan on a full over haul build like @Death-From-A-Mile or idrvSLO. but with a baby almost here that will be put on hold. goals before the overhaul will put me a little shy of 400 (tuning safely). but hopefully when I can get the funds for the build there will be some fueling available for the platform so i can rape this turbo.


So far parts I have:
HKS SSQV3 dick mod BOV. epic thanks to my east coast nator friends. @drummermike58

treadstone tr8 FMIC with 2.5" aluminum piping
cork sport 3" CBE
ATP DP (with cat soon to be gutted and exhaust wrapped)
dumped the grimmspeed ebcs went manual ebcs per advice from @Captain KR

other minor parts not having to do with BT can be found in sig.

Parts i picked up for this build. @eric@edgeautosport.com for helping out
GTX3076r IWG (taking that shit off as soon as it comes in)
3.5 bar map with pig tail (i have big goals once i get the build)
CP-e Nvicsid big TIP
CP-e Xcel XL 3.25" MAF sri.
hallman pro RX MBC
JBR Stg 2 OCC.
PTP Seals and studs (only 99.50 on sale order now if you gotta)

tubular pg EWG manifold
1 bar tial 38mm.

@Death-From-A-Mile is gonna be fabbing up a custom oil return line for us MS6 BT guys and I'm gonna be giving it a test out, pricing and availability haven't been discussed yet, will let you know how easy the install is and rate the over all product when i get it in.


Trying to get this installed in 2 days. (less the OCC, seals and studs, and new pcv)
gonne be attempting to get @Lex to tune me and given everything goes well we will be able to dial it in at the may 27th socal dyno day and post numbers!

good luck with build... Take your time, do it right. buy extra torx bits for injector studs... I broke 3 in the process... T40 IIRC

going out today to start the tear down, gonna get that ATP down pipe off and gut the cat so on tuesday i can wrap the DP with the exhaust mani.

anyone have ideas on how to gut an ATP catted DP? no way to get a rod into the cat

Lost the bolt to my PMM so i decided to replace the whole assembly.

So, after 3 weeks of being torn down, waiting for parts. getting held up and getting the run around I said fuck it, ordered a new coupler (the only thing i was waiting on) and 2 joiner pipes over nighted that shit took 16 hours from Time of order to Time of deliver (thats what i call customer service!, Cxracing is awesome). First start up video is about to come. have a few pics of the finished product. (waiting for them to send)

later to come P/C valve cover (same color as IC piping), and P/C the MAF housing either black or red haven't decided.



and now i have a fuel issue.... AWESOME!...
looks like the injector didn't seal on the fuel rail side... we shall see.. took wife and i 45 minutes to pull the IM and fuel rail... talk about dynamic duo!!

Well the build is on hold till I can tap out this oil drain line... and will NOT be going back to PERM/Stratified tuning upon completion... 50$ for a base map is fucking ridiculous.. @Bucker gonna tune my BT when i finish up haha

yea pretty much. my oil drain went in without a problem. any ways brian did you happen to keep that tracking number? i was expecting it today but didn't get it

@Daddy Chinkus i just trust bucker thats all. he is "affordable" and gets shit done. besides i wouldn't be able to meet the time frame alex puts on the tunes. i go to NC in a week and that would be the end of my tune. its not like im trying to run max power out of the block, im gonna sit 350ish and hold till i build then ill be getting a protune.
