Bolt on GTX3076r kit arrived yesterday thanks to @JP@edgeautosport.com.
Parts list so far:
BOV recirculate
GP-werks Balance shaft delete
JBR Intake and TB Thermal gaskets
JBR EGR block off
Snow Performance Stage 2 Meth
OCC
CP-E injector seals
CP-E BT inlet
CP-E Turbo Mani


I'm sure I'f forgetting some stuff but i'll keep this updated.

did you get the gp baffle pan for the tray as well? I wish you went with an SM OCC can... it's the only baffled one I know of. Not too late to return/hit up @MATT DAMOND for a kit.

I'll be blocking of the EWG on the mani.
The mani comes with a nice looking block off plate.

Got my EGR blockoff, OCC, Intake and TB thermal spacers, and CP-E seals in this weekend.

Install for balance shaft delete will be on 3/24
Turbo and exhaust mani will be going in on 3/25

Install is done except for Meth and MAP sensor.

@Uberfly was a big help Saturday helping me do the balance shaft delete.
Started at 8am and had the balance shaft done before 11am.
Was able to remove the stock exhaust mani and k04 by 5:30PM
Getting to some of the bolts on the mani were a bitch but some liquid wrench and they all came off.
Only issue was I broke my 3" V-Band.
Here is where we left off for the night.
I had a picture of the Balance shaft delete and the car on the lift but I can't find them right now.








Started back up Sunday morning at 8:30am.
Lengthened the coolant lines from cld12pk2go’s BT install thread.
Thanks go to @GunGuru727 who came to help out all day Sunday.
And @dougefresh_ saved my ass by letting me use his V-Band since no one carries them.

Turbo went in easy but the CP-E manifold is a bitch even on the Speed6.
Took out the rear motor mount.
Had one guy on a transmission lift, me pulling on the downpipe to pull the turbo out of the way and my friend on a ladder to get the mani into place. Doug has a great picture of this.
You have to physically break your wrist in 2 places and hire a monkey to get the bolts onto the manifold.
Here is the tool that we made to get the bolts connecting the turbo to the manifold.


The manifold also hit the O2 sensor so we took the downpipe out swapped the location to a second bung and threw it back in, took about an hour.

Got everything together started it up with no leaks.






Finished up at 8:30PM and drove the hour home with no issues.
Base map from @atvfreek was running good at 16psi.

Driving around yesterday heard a knocking sound.
I have a slight exhaust leak and my muffler was bouncing against my rear bumper.
Should be welded back up tomorrow.

I think @JP@edgeautosport.com has an ewg on the mani and if fit ok.


Just got the car back from a local exhaust shop.
Decided to go to a 3" Catback over the 2.5" CBE I had.
They also put in a new 3" resonator to replace the 2.5".
$350 and no more rust!

Can't wait for work to end so I can go make some pulls.

Sorry if this is posted already. Just use the ATP 90* low profile adapter. This is what we used on the dp that makes it the tightest fit for the wastegate.

Figured it was time for an update.

Everything was running smooth with no leaks that I could see up to 20-21psi.
However last week went to turn it up to 24psi and got some interesting results.
Turned it a couple turns and hit 23psi so I pulled over, gave the MBC another turn and did another pull. Could hardly hit 19-20psi.
Thinking I turned the MBC the wrong way gave it another half a turn.
Same result 19-20psi.
Next day went to do a pull and hit 23-24psi.
Tried another pull and again 19-20psi.
Thought it was a bad MBC so I got rid of the TurboXS HP for a Grimmspeed MBC.
That however didn't fix the problem.

So here is what is going on now, let me know if you have any suggestions.

Since I just changed out the MBC I still need to dial back in the boost.
But, did a 2-3pull 2nd gear hit 18psi shift into third and would only make about 13psi.
Attached is the log.

Any help would be great.

Mbc's are pretty clear cut. Very simple operation. Check all your wastegate lines. Leak test. Then check operation of wastegate flapper with shop air. Can't see the log on the phone, throttle look alright?

Ah dude, that sucks! wtf. Did you pre-load the spring on the iwg? I'm just curious... seems like it's at 13.5 psi or so. Anyways I'd inspect the flapper like 86 said. If it's not the plumbing and the flapper is okay, you must have a huge ass leak somewhere. I think you mentioned doing a leak test before... how were you pressurizing everything?

Another good option is a smoke test for like $50-$75... it'll find any/all leaks. I think Kaizen Tuning does them, but def get a price first, bc that shop can be $ (they're great though). Good luck!

EDIT: It's almost like your iwg actuator is fucked up, idk. What I do know is when I had boost leaks on my 3076, the turbo didn't give a fuck, and would still push 26psi (stock map sensor dangling from the IM and everything, lol.

Seems like it might be a couple of issues.

First when hooking up the Grimmspeed I didn't have the instructions so I hooked it up the same as the TurboXS -WRONG!
So after flipping the tubes on the Grimmspeed boost is better, and I feel like an idiot.

Second I did notice that the hard coolant line was hitting the IWG arm so I moved it out of the way.

I checked the movement of the arm with an air hose and it seems to be good.

Went for a drive, cranked the MBC up but still only hitting 20psi.
Attached is a new log.
I will be checking for leaks again tonight but might have too look into a smoke test.

I have heard of a few guys having the IWG arm hitting the coolant line and eric@egdeautosport suggested flipping the IWG arm 180*.

Another thing you can try is swapping out the BPV for a known good one. That's quick and easy.

I have some pics of the wg arm flip move that I can post up later. Sent them to atp, and they said they fixed the problem, but who knows.
