Gonna keep it short n sweet. Been deployed for too long, bought parts including a GTX3071 EWG kit, cash is being saved up for built motor since zzb is "inevitable"...but im tryna tune balls out, hopefully @dantes5823; will hook me up with that.

Iv been following @Matrix311; closely seeing how he is almost the same set up, i cant wait to join the BT world, even tho i know i wont be pushing to the fullest potential, yet, itll be there ready.

Installs all start in April when im back in the good ol USA. Stay tuned

not gonna lie im not up to par on OCCs, yes i know its a good thing to have, put i wanna learn myself more on it...i dont like throwin parts on my car and having no idea how it works...im hearing @jbarone; is coming out with a vented OCC yes?

I would just get his normal stage 2 kit. At the boost youll be running i dont think youll have an issue with dipstick blowing out. You can vent to floor like i like to call it the valve cover. Def dont reciric it cause then youll pop the dipstick.

Research is key to going BT, plus us on here to help you out. If it wasnt for some of the guys on here I would of been lost in the sauce when I went BT. Just take your time and do it right.

Not to be off topic, but I think you helped me with my OCC issue. Issue was nothing was coming out of my OCC and it caused my dipstick to pop. I tried everything except routing it from the valve cover. I did notice that when I toom the stock tube off the vakve cover, it had small amounts of oil inside the tube.

The way i have it and works fine is:

Black pcv box - hose to cc - hose to check valve flowing TOWARDS intake - intake.

Valve cover has a hose dumping to the floor. I had a filter but it was making a mess around that area and smelled of oil.

EDIT: When i first got my car back i had the valve cover routed back into the intake and i was popping my Dipstick out at low boost. Did it ^ that way and at 31 psi no problems.

EDIT EDIT: I usually drain my OCC like once a month or so. Whenever i remember really. And it drains a decent amount. I know when i first got it, i had to drain it like bi weekly. And when i get my new motor that shit filled up quick!

not particular reason, i could just as easy get the 3bar too, just wanted to be 100% i get accurate boost readings.

My 07 has 35k miles on it, im getting mixed responses about cleaning the valves. I know tthe occ is supposed to help, but its sole purpose to not to clean valve, but to keep them clean...er

I went Methanol injection. Look into it after you get done with your BT build. Trust me, with the shit that Snow Performance taught me when I went to their facility, makes me wish I went with meth injection on my previous cars.

I would check them anyways. I dont see anything about an egr delete. I would get that done as well. OCC + egr delete = cleaner valves.

Like @DISIindahead; said. i would look into meth injection. It helps A LOT. Power wise and cleaning valves. remember it wont clean out whats already there. But if you clean them real good, then itll help keep all that build up away. And youll get a lot more power out of the car as well.

Yeah i was told to go meth as well...i figured id build the car up, save ducats after the move n shit...go with it, opens up a lot of fueling for sure.

You can get teh 3.5 bar. Its not a big deal. If you decide to build later you wont have to buy it
