NJSPEED3 Built Motor T3 3076 build

So i was the first idiot to get caught up with the race roots bullshit almost a year ago. My parts finally came in 2 weeks ago form Brice. I find myself in a tough situation financially so im going to attemp this on the stock block for now. I have everything needed to build my block thanks to Sumark from Streetunit. im shooting for a build sometime this winter. In the mean time i just cant help but to throw all this together on the stock block and see what happens. So of the guys here tell me i have djuosnteisnism syndrome. Why not? haha

Im going to run a gt3076r t3 vband .82 a/r with the raceroots mani and dp. Its externally gated tial 44mm and dumping. Im running the sb/flashes combo big maf set up. At the current time im not sure if i'll be using the cobb fmic or rr fmic. Ill be updating this post.

Just because you have a built engine ready to go soon, doesnt mean everyone else does. Nothing wrong trying to get some big power on stock internals, but you dont want to go nuts and just go for broke! Unless you got the coin sitting in your bank account just waiting to be blown- no pun intended.

25 psi on what turbo?.....Hey NJ whatever you choose for turbo, goodluck..and Hope you have great success.

OP needs to pull a DJ, 25 psi on his T3 GT3076R once he gets one.

If you look at the pictures of the mani. You can see my Pauder rods in the back. The mani is sitting on the Cp pistons. If i do blow all i really need is a block i have everything else for the build. Thanks for the support guys. Its been a long time coming with this bullshit. Unfortunatelly i cant afford to do it all at once. Those of you who know me know that i dont have the patience to wait for the turbo kit to go on. So this is where i stand. 21k on this block with some abuse, hope it holds and we can all learn something from this.

OP says in your signature that you have a HTA3076R...can you confirm that?

im pulling my current set up out this week and shopping for a new turbo now. That sig is old Dude. The ideal turbo would be the hta but if i cant afford it ill settle for a gt series as well. Notice i have no pictures on the op of a turbo.

Fuck 25psi though, with fwd that's going to be way too much power to the front wheels without a full slick on at all times. Unless of course you enjoy spinning 4th gear, I know I would!!!

Im telling you man, get a PTE turbo for $850 like I did and bolt that shit on there and enjoy the $600 difference you have left over.

Yeah I hear nothing but good things from Precision turbos. Great bang for your buck. What PTE turbo would be best suited for say 350-400 whp 3000-3500 spool?

I rather go with a bb turbo simple because im done with the smoke issue. Mark & Jake thanks for helping me out. I pulled my old set up and drained the oil. She's ready to go. I have to reinstall my occ with Matts check valve, order the turbo oil lines (i think Tyler has me covered on that). Ohh and i have to order some ss pipe to fab my dump tube. Its a 3076 .82a/r Tim

Hey jerry I just dug through my garage a bit. I found what I will need to have you an oil feed line made. Im going to try to get the ball rolling on this as soon as possible if you still want me to!

Hell yeah. Upon second thought.. Gerry can you send me your stock oil feed line? Derrick too (if you want some made)

Basically one end is straight (the part that mounts behind the alternator) and the other is curvy. After looking at it again i realized that I dont want to risk puncturing the line by bending it too much because its just aluminum. It has to be straight because it bolts on to the block parallel, banjo style fitting, and you only have about an inch between the block and the alternator once you bolt it back on.

So, if I have a straight part I can have it chopped about 4" in and have a male 4an fitting welded on. Then you can use a standard SS 4an braided line to the turbo from there, which I can get cut to length and pressed and all ready to bolt on.

I should have a new return line finished up by the weekend at longest. Let me make sure Im happy with it and once I get it perfected ill have some made for you guys =)
