| Not Ranked : 0 score Wow, the amount of fail in here is amazing. Let's take all the personal shit & flaming, put a pin in it and keep it right here for a minute. 400 BHP 4Cyl ≠ 400 BHP 6/8Cyl. There's significantly more load, mechanical stresses and harmonic stresses on a four cylinder's rod. |

But maybe having no problems with their rods, then again K1's aren't all built the same for every platform. Not trying to start a flame war jesse just saying if I was to build a motor i would rather not cheap out and pay in the end Maybe 450 Crank HP K1's vs 800 Crank HP Pauter Rods Last edited by holeinmypocket; 02-19-2011 at 10:39 AM. you want me to find you pics of broken pauter rods? every rod can break. so your post and your point is useless. a shitty tune will cause any motor to blow with any rod with any build. so your argument of one costing 400 and another costing 700 means nothing to me. ive seen a $1000 honda last longer than $60,000 vette so whats your argument there? again, your post is useless. a company like cp-e wouldn't use K1 rods on their builds if they were shit quality. and if you paid attention, cp-e will have HIGH HP mazdaspeed3/6 builds coming in the future on their motor build programs using the very same rods. and pay in the end? aren't you the guy who bought tru-boost's car and even with him warning you about how you were driving it. you still managed to blow the car up? it all boils down to common sense. just cause you pay more doesn't mean you get more.
