(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Peer pressure build Being around @Captain KR; isn't good for my wallet... After being around some other BT speeds in the area, I couldn't help myself. Managed to find a new 3071r on craigslist, thanks to @sdiegel5;...and talked the guy into $800. Couldn't really pass it up at that point. I still have a few items to get when I stumble across some more money, but I've managed to get everything necessary to do the install for now. I'll be looking to get a mild tune on 93. No e85 in the area...and not planning on running meth just yet. Perhaps by next year I'll have forged internals and I can really push this thing...but a blown motor isn't something I'm totally interested in right now. Hoping to get a safe 350whp and keep it reliable at this point. I'll be posting up pictures as we start to install over the next couple weeks. Hopefully this can end up being a good reference as to what is needed for a very basic k04 to BT swap. Captain KR likes this.
