Default Question on switching from MBC to EBC

The previous owner of my car had a TurboXS MBC installed, right now holding around 10.5 psi from what my AP is telling me. I'm ordering a Cobb 3 port EBC and I was wondering if this is something I can just install and let the ECU adjust how it wants until I start working with my E-Tuner or if I should hold off installing until I'm ready to load the new tune on there?

3 port requires tuning while 2 port doesn't.

OK so waiting for my tuner to have a base tune set before installing it is best?

To take full advantage of the EBCS it should be plumbed in interrupt mode. This requires re-working the WGDC table.

So yes, might as well wait until tuning time.

How exactly can i hook this up as a 2 port while making it easy to change over to a 3 port? Im trying to install this tomorrow without the tuning for the time being but will change it to 3 port in a month or so. Im just not sure which of the 3 ports not to hook up

Cobb has a document showing how to set it up on their site.

Make sure the bottom port on the wastegate actuator is still attached to the compressor housing barb at the bottom.

Oopps sorry! I just copied the link I had on my favorites bar from when I installed mine. I thought those had the instructions for 2 port and 3 port. Now that I think about it, Grimmspeed's instructions has the instructions for both.

My bad. Thanks for the save @Lex;
