I'm back, motha fuckas!

Car wasn't driven for a long while there. She started right up though first try.

Everything is running great except for my fuel pump. I need to go through and check for boost leaks, tighten shit, change the oil, all that. I'm working 7 days a week right now so I'm trying to find the time.

If anyone sees a used Cp-e pump up for sale ANYWHERE, please let me know. I haven't been around on the boards much lately. Also, what is the best deal around for one brand new? I'm trying to save up, but shit is tough right now.

I've been debating swapping out my internals for some KMD's... any thoughts?

crap man, we probably could've worked something out.

i recently traded in my MS3, and a PTP fuel pump was installed in it. i know that PTP doesn't have the greatest reputation, but i would've given you a steal on a trade.

Dude, this had me cracking up!! I have all my stock shit in my storage unit.... wheels & tires to boot. I was hanging onto shit bc of my btb warranty to 100K, lol. Then I found a place last Nov that doesn't give a shit, and just had my leaky pto fixed for $0 including a new drive shaft. YET, I still have a a storage locker full of stock parts, haha. 2nd cat and and everything.... wtf. I DO plan on powder-coating the stock wheels though and putting them back on down the road$.

Turbo kit and turbo has less than 5k on it. The car is immaculate and still smells new inside. The car is running well right now on an extremely conservative tune, but it needs a lot of tuning to get it to its potential. Especially with the recent advances it has a hell of a lot of a way to go.

I'm just asking like $19k. I would like to get rid of it, but I'm not desperate to, but I'm happy to entertain any reasonable offers. I'm not going to put it on autotrader or anything at the moment.

I would greatly appreciate telling your friends! This would be a great project for someone. I'm very attached to the car, I want it to go to a good owner who knows what they're doing.

Reason for selling: I just don't need a car anymore. I commute via bicycle everywhere, the car never gets driven. I'm starting grad school here and its a fortune, now that it's payed off, it'd be great to have the cash.

I just honestly don't need the car right now. I don't have the time to tune it and give it what it deserves to reach the potential that it could.

I still absolutely love the car and have a strong sentimental attachment to it. There's no way I'm going to sell it to some shmuck on autotrader. I just would like it to go to someone who could enjoy it more than I can. Going to school full time, still have at LEAST 4 more years, and I'm working three jobs right now.

just posing the question b/c i have been debating the same thing. selling my Miata would be a quick way to free up cash and avoid paying $90/mo for a stupid storage garage. i'm engaged, and planning the wedding is going to be expensive. but it's extremely fun to drive, and i've already put a lot of time and money into it. plus, after marrying, i'll have a hard time convincing the wifey to let me get another one. as of now i've got the car, and boxes of parts that arrive can be quickly shuttled to the garage and explained as "maintenance" for it

you've spent a lot of time and money making your MS3 unlike any other. it's not worth sitting on it until you gradumacate and can make an honest car out of it?

I totally agree. Its a tough decision and I'm still fighting back and forth with myself. We'll have to see what the future holds. While it gets driven once a week by my dad (its stored at their place, I don't have a good place to park it where I'm living now), I haven't driven it in a few months. Next time I get in it, I will probably fall in love all over again and change my mind.
