| Not Ranked : 0 score pretty much a matter of preference.. i say v-band if the mani is fabbed in an way where the v-band is easily accessible. mine was fabbed up with the flange close to runner #1, and it made for a very difficult install of the EWG with v-band. that being said, i like v-band for less chance of a leak. i had a lot of confidence with it. my guess is you want 1.2 or 1.3 bar spring... but that really depends on what you want to control boost with (electronic or just straight off the WG spring). i dont know enough about EBCs to help you there, sorry.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Ohhh me like Nice picture. Ill using that for reference I think when I take the mani to get it fabbed for ewg. Ill be using that compact 38mm tail mvs..should fit no prablem. I just called Surgeline tuning up and they will use some special type of boost solenoid, and then have the Cobb AP control boost. So thats the direction im going there. They were saying a .8 bar should be fine. Thanks again Dane

| Not Ranked : 0 score ok glad you got some advice on the boost control. 38mm is a good call. i had a 44mm (not necessary). i really like how i had mine done and how it came out, i just wish the flange was maybe another 1/2 inch away from the runner for ease of install. otherwise it was perfect. more reference...

| Not Ranked : 0 score What Dane said.. Flange is just a preference, while v-band has less of a chance to leak, if you're running spring pressure as your form of boost control I may opt for the flange for ease of install/uninstall when changing springs. It all just depends on where your WG is located. Mine is just a pain in the dick to get to, it's vband and it takes like an hour to get the fucker off. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So....after contacting several Exhuast&weld shops in my area they highly suggest SpeedFactory in Tacoma. Ricky runs the place and is mostly a Honda guy,but all he does is turbo kits&exhaust fabrication ect. So called him up..sounded really professional, and says that will be no prablem on doing the ewg pipe. Price will be 150 bucks..which is fair to me. And im using Dane's mani for the reference Thanks again Dane!!!
