So after having the worst BT fever ever, I decided it was time.

I want to thank @JP@edgeautosport.com for AMAZING customer service, advice, and pricing. Definitely highly recommend you give this man for your BT needs or pretty much anything.

Tuning will be started ASAP with the one and only @Lex and some Corn Love.

Go the hook up with:

-GTX3071r with ATP EWG Turbine Housing Bolt on Kit:
Kit comes with:
**38mm Tial MVS
**Oil/Coolant Lines
**Dump Tube
**V-band Clamps

-90 Degree Elbow for WG
-CPE Whale Penis
-CPE BIG MAF
-GS EBCS
-2.25 to 2.00 Silicone

Parts Should be in 2 weeks.

Ok guys Sorry for not updating, I have just been very busy with work.

Here are the pics of parts.






Install went pretty smooth especially with the help of @Daddy Chinkus asian hands and @UnknownSuperhero place and everything else. Pretty much thank everyone for the great help.

Here are a Few Tips:


Tip:1 Install Oil Feed Line before tightening down turbo to manifold that banjo bolt is a huge PITA SERIOUSLY. If you didn't Tighten the banjo before well you will need pliers, screw driver and paper in Socket trick thanks to @eric@edgeautosport.
-place bottom and top banjo washers. place screw driver thru middle so washers don't fall off.
-with pliers align the oil feed hard line.(keeping Screwdriver in until perfect alignment).
-with paper in socket tighten down banjo bolt.

Tip:2 You will need a longer Coolant drain line hose. Unfortunately i don't remember the size.

Tip:3 Get @Lex for tuning madness!

If I remember more tips I will keep updated.

How much did that run you? Never heard of an ewg kit just the mazda hotside housing. Looks like its going to be a good build dude.

And ya its the mazda flange and the Turbine housing has an EWG flange. All you do is switch turbine housings. Same easy bolt up like the iwg.

You need to get your Build going!!

You guys will know BT installs like the back of your hands in Cali. Tell you what - I make a summer trip down there with a BT in the trunk, you guys do a one day install on my car while I tune your cars, and I drive back to Canada with the BT under the hood

Yeah I know of the ewg housing and shit I just didn't know edger sold a kit with an ewg included.

And yeah, I'm prob gonna be stuck with my pte5557 cuz no one wants to buy it so we can both have ewg builds goin. As soon as I get my refund check I'm buying a mani and ewg. And my build will begin

I am VERY curious how this housing with the build in WG works. I have no double it will be able to control boost but having that exhaust come out right in the middle of the housing is ... interesting ... so we'll see how this does.

Ya we will see. I havent really seems many people use this housing. But good thing is that people will know very soon. And if anything bad, well ill just cap off the EWG hole and just get a EWG Mani.

Haha yes it did...my hands are fucked as well. Although I WILL ADMIT without @Daddy Chinkus help I would have never been able to do this much less get the car running in 1 day with all the problems we ran into.

We are actually the only ones offering this as a one item bolt-on kit. We put ALL the items you need together for a kit as an item on our website. You can select the turbo, color of the wastegate, and the optional CPE Big Turbo TIP. It comes with EVERYTHING the IWG kits come with to make it a full bolt-on kit but with the EWG setup instead. We actually sold 2 of these exact same setups this week. We are also about to install this setup on our shop car with the CPE manifold and a GT3076R. We will be documenting EVERYTHING including a back to back test of a tuned stock mani and the same tune with bolting on the CPE mani. We will be able to show people EXACTLY how much power you can potentially gain by bolting on a manifold with not only the big turbo but we're going to do it with stock turbo as well for all those considering upgrading the manifold before the turbo.

@eric@edgeautosport.com ran this setup with the GT3076R and made 447whp with a small E85 mix. Of course, he had the one and only @djuosnteisn to help with that locally. But the setup can make power, there's no doubt.

We love how easy this turbo kit is. You can literally bolt-on an entire EWG setup about as easy as the IWG setups.

This has been an ongoing mystery but ATP claims it's .72. I know some of the earlier turbos had a .55 actually cast in to the turbine housing (from what I'm told) but to this day I've asked ATP 2 or 3 times on the phone and they say it's .72. For whatever it worth....

Also, I always tell people at the end of the day, it doesn't matter, it's the only Mazda flange turbo upgrade for a Garrett turbo. It's not like there are choices so it is what it is.

Jason all i got to say is, Do IT!!! No other can can just bolt straight up BT for the price and make easy 430 whp without replacing clutch, trans, complete fuel system, etc. its simple just a few parts.

No change in A/R going from IWG to EWG for the bolt-on kits.

We are actually in both places lol. I moved the company out to WA for personal reasons back in October but we'll be moving back to Denver this summer. We're in Vancouver right now, Portland area.
