V- Band DPs for Speed 3

I wanted to make an interest thread to see how many people are interested or going to be interested in a 3in. V- band DPs for bigger turbos.

Speed 3 stock location or steed speed twin scroll stock location manifolds.

What i want to do is, put a rough guess of how many people would like a DP so i can put in a order for fittings and pipe. the bigger the order the better price I can get it for.

Im trying to cut cost the best i can to make them a lil cheaper, due to stainless material is pretty pricey! And make it worth the time of doing it.

Also I might make intakes also, 3.5 o.d. kinda just got to see were it goes.

I remember reading your thread awhile ago and saw that you made 3" vband dps...was going to post a thread today asking who it was lol.

What would you charge for just one dp? Because if there is no other interest, I still need a vband dp for my bt build.

let me know if you want one. i got 3 im going to make in a couple weeks, and if i get more to make the cheaper i can get material.

300- 350 depending on if i can get a better deal on material.

if you re flange the ebay, (witch is fine) its not as easy as a re flange. you need a new 90 elbow, a v band flange, and two 02 bungs welded in.

new 90- $30
vband flange- $30
bungs- $12
ebay pipe- $150 plus shipping
welding materials- $25 (guess)
labor- $


i can do ebay pipes, and lil cheaper than making one from scratch.
its hard getting good prices on material being not a company buying in bulk.

also the ebay pipes are thin and cheap, but i put on a good quality elbow and flange that takes the brunt of the heat.

yeah, im making 3 of them now, well this weekend. i was making them for 300 each, but with the cost of material ect. i cant do it for 300 anymore. im not a company and get nearly no break on cost.

For the quality, $400 is more than fair.

a 3in pipe is a 3in pipe........ as longs as you keep the bends to a min. and nice long radius 90s.
