| Not Ranked : 0 score 35R on a stock flange isn't going to be much better than a 3076 or 3071. If you want to go beyond a 30 frame I'd suggest going with the CPE atmosphere kit or go T3+.

| Not Ranked : 0 score What turbo to choose is directly related to your power goals and if you will stay on stock block or go built. If you do not plan on building it then a gtx3071/76 is perfect. They can max out your fueling and go much further than what the oem rods can handle. I'm on a gtx3076 and love it, if I go built I will not need to upgrade the turbo unless my goal is north of 500awhp

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score my goal is around 700, i am ordering the jm intake with the speed performance injector kit, i am building the motor completely along with the trans. So will the 35 fit in the stock location with that manifold. I am assuming yes from the way you guys are talking, and thanks for actually trying to answer my question! ( though i do enjoy a good roast) bigger than my dick, but not as big as my balls. Last edited by MY DICK IS SMALL-beautfpowers@gmail.com; 04-26-2015 at 11:06 PM. (Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score i gave up, and got a refund. Now I'm going to make them let me return the trunk i bought, hopefully they won't be dicks about it. I had mentioned it to them before but and they seemed ok with it. If a carbon fiber hood comes out one day down the road after i do this build and i feel like i want it ill cross that bridge when i get to it. I'm going to install some carbon fiber mustang vents in the stock hood tho(already have them). Its going to look like sex...trust me. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score why return the trunk? you could always paint it. still saving weight even if the hood doesnt fully match. Apparently painting carbon fiber is hard though... Last edited by acemanz; 04-27-2015 at 01:30 AM. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score The 35 turbo will have plenty of power at 8.5k rpm if we could rev that high without mayor modifications. And if you want 700hp then start selling yourself on a street corner coz it's gonna cost you

| Not Ranked : 0 score We can't run that high in RPMs anyway since we don't have the tuning available to do so. If you want to use a 35 then the best option is the HTA3586. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score can i go bigger than a 35, like a 40? i feel like the 35 won't get me to 700. i guess my real question is am i going to buy a turbo and have it not fit in the car lol i have the cpe manifold I'm doing an all out engine/trans and big turbo build so i have been working the street corner for the extra cash I'm thinking i need to spend about 15k ( maybe 20 FML) to get me the rest of the way there and I'm OK with that because i want to finally drive my car but when this is done the car will be pretty much new and should last me a long fucking time since i don't drive in the winter, and i also hope to be able to make a few bucks back selling off the parts i have on it now help is appreciated guys! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Im guessing you are on stock flange on that cpe mani? If that's the case you should sell it and go with this kit: Precision Turbo Kit V-Band Ball Bearing Turbo Mazdaspeed 6 2006-2007 - EdgeAutosport.com You'll never get close to 500 on a stock flange mani. You need v-band, like the kit above. Go with the 6266, 0.82 A/R and Ported "S" compressor. And you might get close... But that also depends on what is done to the engine. You need a 4" intake, 4 Bar MAP, JMF manifold with PI fuel kit, and fuel made of unicorn piss

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score yeah i ordered it incorrectly so I'm talking to cp-e about trading it, worst case i have to sell it but I've bought so much shit (stand back wish i could send back years ago before the AP SMH) from them I'm going to be very angry if they don't let me trade it, n00b mistake but i am learning haha. as far as everything else you listed, i am aware I'm going sp63 motor with all the bells and whistles, i know what i want short of turbo and clutch then i just have to stock pile the parts and put it all together can i go garrett 40 housing or too big for the tight turbo location? how far will the 35 get me, i would like to have some head room |

| Not Ranked : 0 score If you have a CPE manifold and you don't want a stock flange then you pretty much have to go for a Precision Turbo unless if you get a Tial hotside and get a downpipe custom made. Last edited by broda; 11-27-2015 at 10:17 PM. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score 700 is only achievable if every component of your setup works perfectly with each other and flows a hell of a lot better than a Mazda flanged setup. With a GTX35 you could see somewhere around 550-600awhp on a 1.02 hotside. You need the PTE setup to get anywhere close to your goal, or a custom setup with a turbo that flows about the same

| Not Ranked : 0 score If you're going to get a 6466 I'd suggest donating and looking at the Gen 2 For Sale section. Cough cough hint hint. @Putin 2.3T; |

| Not Ranked : 0 score 1. I gotta get this outa the way and say you could not sound more like a troll. 2. you will not need nitrous to "Spool" a 6466. That turbo spools fast. 3. IDK why I even posted in this thread. I can't believe I'm that bored right now. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score This thread makes my head hurt. If you want to build something like this, why not put the time into measuring things and doing some research yourself instead of hoping someone will just tell you what to do? For what it's worth, 500hp is achievable on a stock flange exhaust manifold, someone earlier in the thread said it was not possible. A PTE kit with a 6466 or 6262 will get you close if not past your 700hp goal. It has been done on a few cars already. If you want to innovate, stop being lazy and do some work. If you want 700hp while being lazy, call Edge or Kozmic and get a PTE kit.

| Not Ranked : 0 score There are SOOO many turbos that can get you to 700. Seriously. Go on the aftermarket flow rate list on here and see what fits your needs.

the 6466 seems like it will get me there no problem and the power band seems great for the tuning solutions we have right now. as for me being lazy, as you can see by my fenders i clearly haven't taken the time to do anything original on my own because i am too lazy LOL | |

Compressor maps as well as frame dimensions for almost any turbo in existence can be found on the internet, if not on this very site. If you want to do something innovative, research comp maps, pick a turbo based on your desired power and spool, then go measure shit. You aren't being humble and asking for specific help with a hard to resolve issue, you are being lazy and asking to be spoon-fed information that is readily available. Congrats on the fender flares.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Just for reference, I think on my setup the 35R could probably get closer to 660-700. I only run the thing at 32 psi. I made close to 600 during 80°F summer days.....BUT that being said, Precision or one of the giant Xona Rotors would be fantastic and a better option.
