Default It Is Your Fault

Yes it is your Fault.... @Haltech; @WetzMS3; @Elrodd; @SofaKingAwesome; @DarvisEngineering; @Enki; @SpeedRebirth; @Pu Mandchu; @08mzr; @wyeto; @Swinger13; @MD1032; @Mazdazilla6; @Micha; @blackms3_71; @Omega; @Vansquish; @g00s3y; @RE-ACTIONENGSPEED3; @EasterBunny; @KiwiFlavor; @Voltwings; @Code Monkey; @phate; @LumberJack @Djohns; @GODspeed7; @CWP_MS3; @MSP611; @MATT DAMOND; @Lex; @Thor Hammer: @rfinkle; @freektune;

Yes My title is correct. And it is in the right place as well. Their are many other who are to be on that list above. But it will take up lots of space and those are whom i can think of off hand. I have been around here, reading, understanding, laughing, learning, reading and more reading. And I am thankful that this is the place I have chosen to do so. I have never seen so many people do everything they can to help another person make anything and everything happen to someone elses MazdaSpeed 6/3. From being Razzed, Beat up on, Told to go read, Point them where to read, Go help, Drive miles to go help. Take apart their own car just to show someone else where and what they need to look for. And the wealth of knowledge that comes with it all.....PRICELESS. And for that reason I must blame you and thank you.

I too have now taken that step to put ah little pep in my 06 Blackcherry MazdaSpeed6. It is 37k miles young with all internals still stock and only Corkspoort Complete exhaust system and a Synapse BOV.

To be installed:
GTX3076r
Coolmist WMI
Corksport FMIC
Whitline Rear Swaybar
Guardian Angel
JBR 3.5" intake
AccessPort
VersaTune
Stratified Tune
GrimmSpeed
SPC

To be bought:
Damond RMM
Corksport HPFP
Turbine tech FMM
Turbine Tech Transfer casse Mount
CP-e Rear Differential Mount
FAT CAT Suspension
Front and rear endlinks (Have not decided which one)
Full Race Exhaust
Damond STI Intake Mani
BBK (to stop before the dime)

There are other things that I am sure I have sitting at home. But those are what I can remember for now.

I look forward to your help and suggestions from one and all. I thank you much In advance

Better start on the Fat Cats now if you want to have them installed by the end of this year.

If you do not track your car, a BBK is a waste of money.

Saw I was mentioned and read the title and geared up for battle, then I read it and laid my Internet sword and shield down. Thanks OP and good luck. You already know where to go if you need help.

You can't use AccessPort and Versatune at the same time.

You need to do the HPFP before you do half the crap on your "to be installed' list.

Good day...My upgrades will begin in ah couple weeks. So i'll post my stages and progress along the way. @aakthpt; I do plan to install HPFP along with what I already have. As for the Accessport and Versatune. I know they both can't be used at the same time. I've had the Accessport for several years now, unused. Then after reading all what they were doing and was about to do. I started looking into Versatune. That is why I have both at this time. But I do thank you

^^^ what he said.

Should be a pretty sweet ride when you're done. You should definitely get some of those other "to be purchased" before you try to put this on the road.

What I'm really confused about is how @Haltech; made the damn list. His autobot must have posted a really good article or something.

I kinda like how everyone picked out their own projects and shared with the community. It really made for a strong overall knowledge base.

with what that turbo is capable of and your mod list, I would under-work that turbo and help keep egt's down on a stock motor (I presume).

Thanks for the mention, my BT thread died though . Moved into a house and that has been occupying my time and money (renovations and beer). I'll be selling my 6 but keeping all my custom stuff and things that are hard to come by like the engine, FMIC crash bar, stuff like that then hopefully I can pick back up on it again someday.

Good day to all.... Sorry for the delays, but i officially started my tear down /uninstalling of parts this past Sunday. I did about 6 to 7 hours of work on it and got down to 2 bolts on the exhaust manifold and the 5 bolts on the exhaust. Turbo removal was set for the following day and mock up and stratergy was set for later that day. Then here comes the rain. I don't have a garage and my friend's shop is full. So out in the sun was my only other option. I'll post some pictures shortly to show where i am at and I hippie to get some feedback ...... Any and all feedback are welcome

Good day to all. I have a little issue which i am seeking input on....... I have Flash my Base MAP today and started my car. It started right up but then a code came in, P2088 Camshaft Position Actuator. I still have the original VVT installed and I heard not slapping of the chain or anything like that. Do you think I should still drive the car? The only other thing I have done besides the installation of those parts is an oil change. Everything is connected up and tighten. Thank you much and awaiting your response.

I will post some pictures today of what it looks like. Sounds heavier with the GTX3076r ..Love it

Check your cam sensor (right side of the valve cover by the fuel pump) and check your VVT solenoid (left side of the valve cover by the oil fill). Make the wiring going to both sensors is okay, they tend to get crusty. If those are okay ohm check both sensors.

Good day....Just a few more pictures....Stock Top mount inter-cooler is installed only for the time being. Some how the inlet pipe to the throttle body for my CorkSport FMIC can't be found. Which is also where the BOV / BPV is mounted. Will have to get that done locally. One of the most interesting thing, when working on your own car after a Mazda Dealership has, is seeing all the things they have done wrong, did not do, or misplace. I am not a Master Mechanic but I am OK at doing stuff.......

Good day To All. Little update. I live on the Caribbean, USVI to be exact, and we where hit with 2 category 5 hurricanes in a span of two weeks last month. One being the strongest recorded one in the Atlantic to date. Prior to these storms I was working on finding boost / vacuum leaks and prepping for my tuning stage with Stratified. That did not happen due to the devastation which happen here on the Island. Very little damages was done to my car and Tuning will happen at a later date. I also have an issue with fitment of my JBR 3.5" Wide Path intake. It is firmly pressed against the brakes cylinder and I have tried to re position it so it won't touch the brakes cylinder. But the intake hangs very low, close to the height of the frame. Also, I must thank Stratified for being patient with my.

@Elrodd; Did you get ride of your Mazdaspeed6? Anything wrong with it? Also, you may see your issues as misfortune. But to other, like myself, that is guidance and motivation which includes knowledge from all in this forum to be as good.

Nope, I still have it. currently in 1000 pieces in the garage because something in my clutch system died so I replaced everything. I also decided to swap in a set of Gen 2 1-4 gears, so I'm waiting to go pick that trans up and just kind of tinkering on mine.
