Dear @CorkSport;

I wanted to bring this to your attention out of hope it will force you to change your selfish and unthoughtful ways. Yesterday, my buddy and I were attempting to install your badass BPV that I just recieved in the mail (you can check my order history to verify this). I had turned my back to retrieve a socket from the toolbox, when I heard a loud thump followed by a desperate, muffled squeal for life- only to see this:



I desperately tried to free him from the clutch of the car, but I was quickly met with failure. Only after a passerby noticed me taking the above photo were the two of us able to pull my BFF from the eventually fatal situation. Once we retrieved his body from the unrelenting grasp of the hood, it was fairly clear what happened. His right elbow had bumped the stock hood prop hard enough to break it loose and allow the full weight of an unsupported bonnet to crash down onto his innocent torso. I feel horrible enough for not being able to save him, but I cannot imagine the guilt that you, Corksport, must be feeling for failing to yet release hood struts for the genjuan. It is obvious that this entire mishap would have been prevented if you had stopped wasting time on silly nonsense, like adjustable shifters for the pu, and ensured us all a timely delivery of these badly needed hood struts to our front doors. Hopefully you will immediately take the appropriate action to prevent another tradegy from happening to anyone else in our community. Shame on all of you.

tldr; no gen1 hood struts caused best friend ever to die
