Corksport FMIC for Gen2 2013 MS3

I don't know if I can ask these questions here, but I figured since you are a vendor here... what better place to ask.

So I've been eyeing this FMIC for awhile now. I saw someone who had one and I loved how the piping comes up through the gap where the SRI usually sits. It turns out that if I wanted to get this setup I would probably need to get the top mounted SRI (which is pretty unique) or get a custom SRI. The person who has this top mounted SRI has told me he likes it, but I have some concerns.

My current SRI is a JBR that I got used from someone at a great price (its this one JBR Power Path Stage II Short Ram Intake [MS-PPI-S2] - $250.00 : James Barone Racing, Aftermarket Performance).

*Would you happen to know if your FMIC would work with my current SRI?

*If it can't work... what info can you provide about your top mounted SRI?

*Have you seen any reports of water issues? I'm just stating this because its sitting on top with the scoop leaving it completely open to rain/climate.

*Is there any heat soak due to how the new SRI setup is sitting on top of the hot engine?

My apologies for all of my questions, but I haven't been able to find any reviews online about this FMIC setup. I'm itching to try it out, but I want to make the most well informed decision possible.

I have the new corksport FMIC and the JBR 3.5 intake and it all fits just fine. I do have a small battery but I needed that because of the intake, not the fmic. FMIC is awesome.

@CorkSport; - What is the size of the top mounted intake as well? Seems to be about 3"... am I right?

Even though you are right with your statement I really prefer to see things in writing. Then everyone has something they can refer back to because other people may have the same questions/thoughts.

I'm not looking to keep all the info to myself. I prefer to get it straight from them and in writing.

It is a little larger that 3inch ID through the piping. The MAF size with the kit is 68mm.

Isn't it just better to get it straight from the horse's mouth and not 3rd person info?

I know that I would believe what the vendor says over just some random forum poster's interpretation of the info.

Isn't this technically going to the horse? I much prefer things in writing from a vendor versus some random person's "word". Especially when you are shelling out $800+.

The way I see it - if you have nothing useful to contribute than adding to your post count then please don't post.

Not in a forum environment, its not. Why are you even a member if you wont trust anything anyone says? Also, what is with the "in writing" part? You want to try to blame something on a vendor when you do something stupid? I guess you could call them and have them e-mail you a transcript of the conversation on approved letterhead and notorized
