beta testers should have had these on...fully tuned and ready to go before release to the masses in my opinion. how do you know what its going to do with no feedback? your going to buy something with 0 data out there? whats the point of being a beta tester if you didnt truly test the product? maybe i expect too much. not knocking corksport. badass they put the leg work in for this. im sure its fine, but id want more info before i dropped my hard earned money.

I'm thinking this turbo is going to come in slightly ahead of the BNR based on technology progression. The parts included also make it very attractive. That being said it seems that for all the R&D that must have gone into this, they rushed the release a little bit. Especially for this market. This.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I feel like with this product release being so vehicle specific you HAVE to release some dyno and flow data. Your target market is speed owners looking for bolt-on simple swaps and the turbos only real market place competitor is the BNR S3. So if its my business im showing gains against both the K04 and BNR S3. Just saying seems a little rushed to the market IMO which is never a good thing. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score 50lb/hr puts it in competition with turbos larger than the s3. I think the whole true drop in bit is skewing people's expectations.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Let's get back on topic, I have posted my data logs from the ko4 and from the cs turbo. It is on a mostly finnished 91 tune at this point just sight changes being made. If someone with an s3 wants to post a log to compare then please do because I am interested in seeing that myself. I also want to remind you all I will be running e85 and pushing this turbo harder so stand by for that. I understand you all wanting instant data but I've had the turbo less than two weeks and have a pretty much completed 91 tune. Nishan can only work so fast, he has a life outside of etuning haha

| Hmm...320g/s @20psi... I'm seeing 330g/s @20psi with slightly leaner AFRs (11.02 vs. 10.8), a bit more calculated load (2.05 vs. 1.92), and 1º more timing, and about 8º less BAT and identical IAT. I am running about 20% more WGDC though...

| Not Ranked : 0 score I mean, he posted the log if you want to put it in vdyno...I put it in and the numbers are right (he must weigh less than I do though...lol), just that it's a shitty log, really wavy for a 4th gear log honestly. But good enough to get an idea. Damn, that little thing's got headroom yet. Only running 55% WGDC up top and hitting 20 psi like it's nothing. Are you running in interrupt or bleed mode? Can't wait to see E85 results. I bet you are going to make ridiculous power. You're right, though, that is some seriously shitty gas. And man, your BAT's are high for having an upgraded TMIC. @Vansquish; you could be like me and flow 280 g/s at 20 psi, similar BAT and IAT...dat stock exhaust lyfe.

AFR......Boost...Calc Load.....BAT....IAT...MAFg/s....RPM 11.32...16.42....2.25...........90......68....167.48....2917 11.76...17.71....2.29...........90......68....176.60....2950 11.91...18.79....2.30...........90......68....182.35....3001 12.20...20.37....2.30...........88......69....194.67....3054 (Please ignore the at-spool leanness. I've been working on tuning that out.) Needless to say, I'm fairly confident that the S3 can be above 15psi by 3000rpm too. I'm really not trying to shit on the CS turbo, mind you. Frankly, I'm hoping it's a better-spooling, better-flowing snail than the BNR, as competition breeds better products all around.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Nice! Been a lot of people waiting for this! Sorry I'm new to dynos and vdynos (i know this is an actual dyno) but on your power/torque readings, what is the dotted line? an average, or you last/first run? Thanks! not new to making cars faster, just new to etuning, and never had a vehicle worth putting on a real dyno. Very solid number by the looks of it, can't wait for it to be picked apart by the tuner pros.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Both runs at full temps? or was the 2nd one heatsoaked, I notice a bit of a drop in power/torque from 3600-4250rpm, then again at 5k-5500rpm (the most obvious differences), or is that just within the realm of normal as far as doing multiple pulls? Having that much power for that long (3500-6600rpm) is still so nice compared to so many peaky dyno sheets I've seen..

(Thread Starter) | Neutral : +1 score The second run was obviously a little more heat soaked but it was within 30 seconds after the first pull. Did back to back pulls.

Still thank you many times over for posting this info, it's still very impressive especially since you are just 2 pulls in on your e85 tune, I'm sure there's more to be had in terms of power. With the TMIC do you plan on eventually running a meth/water kit? Or do you plan on going FMIC? I am currently checking out the meth/water kits as one of my next upgrades, as you get the added benifit of keeping your TB/IM/head/valves clean without deleting you EGR/PCV. A CS OCC is $200+, but many meth kits are $400ish with reservoirs, I think it's obvious which is the better bang fer yer buck. So do you plan on taking this tune any further?

| Not Ranked : 0 score g/s will be relative to your MAF scaling and vary, it's not a direct comparison of power. Either way it's nice to see a completed tune and a car making solid power.

When you are running larger intake and aftermarket EBCS, the "drop in" factor is lost. So the price point is the same between this and the S3 and the deal one of the vendors on this site runs, S3+EBCS+3-bar sensor and plug for 1149.99 shipped appears to make it the better deal. Maybe the cost is offset with the gaskets and studs, but It all really only comes down to what is available and how soon can you get it. My $0.02 anyways.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I was actually thinking the same thing. Seems you need an aftermarket ebcs to realize the potential here along with 3" intake or larger. The only up side I could see is the coolant line and oil line bolting directly up but nothing that couldn't be resolved like any other platform with a turbo upgrade. It is a cool product though none the less especially for someone who had a k04 shit the bed and just wants a drop in with a small boost in power and efficiency

| Not Ranked : 0 score I think we need some more data points on what this turbo can do on the top end before we can truly say its the same as xxxx. corksport feels that it can move more air on the top end than an s3 so we will have to see.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Is it bad that I'm secretly happy this turbo doesn't appear to be a step above the S3 at the same price? Obviously a single test case, but if he'd cracked 400whp I'd be mean mugging my S3. Side note - we'll all be doing this dance again when (if) the S4 comes out.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Better gas than the 92oct mixed with the Eth would help. I run a bit more timing on 3/9 with 93oct and it frees up some IDC. I also don't knock, and those little knock hits in the upper RPM are causing the AFRs to fatten up to 11.4 and IDCs to exceed 100%. Whether this was the initial 4 gallons in the 15.9 gal tank to get a 3/9 mix or what will be a consistent 4/8 mix does matter - specific gravity will take more fuel from you. I'm not convinced this is going to perform any better than the existing 46lb options either as the WGDC went up a good bit to reach 24psi, but there's definitely more in it for someone on meth or running a lower SG mix / better gasoline. My BNR S3 is producing 386whp 25psi 17.5° 73% WGDC (27mm IWG likely makes that irrelevant to compare) and with a 2.875" MAF ID, 340g/s. It also trapped 117.92 full weight (3487lbs) 2800 DA to back that up as a point of comparison.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Looks like you have the opposite problem than I have at the track. You have trouble hooking the launch? Last time I went (on my E85 tune) I ran a 13.05 @ 110 - no trouble hooking up with awd, but my trap speed sucks (no track prep, full weight, Potenza S-04 tires)
