(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Hood Struts I'm asking b/c they are a little more potent than what my CF hood really needs. I don't want to jeapardize my hood's mounting integrity by putting undue leverage on it. I need something probably close to half of the 40kgf. Can we get these from you?

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score After talking with @JgamB; I decided to flip my struts around from what your, @CorkSport; directions say. And it relieved a lot of the stress when attempting to close the hood. Apparently, the directions have them wrong. You need to have hte valve bodies up near the hood. With them in this orientation now I can hear the hydralics working as they should and the hood opens much less violently. Also, with the lighter hood the inital closing was putting serious stress on the hinge points and now that is relieved as well. It's a much more controlled opening.
