(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I am getting into the 300's for whp and want to free up some extra power and get some better sound. I was leaning toward the single since it is much lighter and also cheaper but I am not sure. Thanks!

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Thanks.... Real comments would be great. Found info one other sites mostly about evos and why most high powered build on that platform use single exit. They said it is for weight reduction and also has a marginal power increase. Wanted to know why the slight power increase does not ring true on our platform or if they just simply tested the dual exit with more mods. Right now still leaning toward single since it is cheaper, lighter and will allow me to spend that extra money on some more parts. Just confused why it is rated lower when it has the same tubing size and all that. @CorkSport;

| Not Ranked : 0 score The single does weigh less, its louder. It also has a little more backpressure. 2 mufflers is quieter but flows a "little" more. Go listen to soundclips on YouTube.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Not too worried about sound just trying to figure out if its worth the extra cash to go dual or if single will be a good route. Just waiting on cork sport to respond back on if it does truly make less power for some reason or what. Seems weird that it would since evo's make more power with a single exit. You would think that the extra bend to make it dual exit would be less efficient then a straight through design. I wouldn't think a single exit would have more back pressure since the route is straighter. Hints why I am asking cork sport the question. and sorry if you think my question is dumb. I am curious so I thought I would ask. If you think it is dumb then don't comment. No one is making you read or respond to this thread. Think it is reasonable to ask since the data does not line up with the data from my other research.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Two exits overcome the inefficiency caused by the extra bends. It's 4 hp. The difference is negligible. May as well be 0. |

There are a myriad of reasons why the HP numbers are different. But I'd venture to say that it is not statistically significant. | |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I will be getting their single exit cbe since I myself have a single exit on my pu and it's amazing. Love the tone. And even with the dual and single exhaust, the numbers will not be significantly different

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score think i will just save the weight and go single then. Already added a bunch of weight from mods so taking a few pounds off should help!

If looks do not matter to you there really a need to go with the dual. Especially, when its gonna save you a chunk of change.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I would actually believe the single drones more, but that's just me. Also, the power difference is negligible, probably just a difference in the dyno pull we did that day... consider the fact that we did them several years apart.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I am wondering how you decide that you have 300+hp when you don't even have a tune... Just go with quad pipes, more space available for air to flow though, more hp.
