exhaust rattle

Alright, so I'm coming here for some help. I installed your CBE on my car about a week after Christmas. Also installed the urethane hangers along with it. After I did this, I get a weird rattle that is literally right under where the driver seat/center console is. Ive been lurking around the forum and it seems as if I am not the only one. Did some more research and am coming to the conclusion that the resonator that is located in the spot I described might be rattling up against the H-Brace.

The next thing I looked into are new H-Braces. I saw you guys have an aftermarket H-Brace on your website. Do you think this would eliminate the rattling noise I get.

Any suggestions would be good. I have searched and look but can't come to any conclusions

Why not go to auto parts store and spend 10 bucks on u-bolts and hangers and make the exhaust stiffer so it does not rattle. Did it on a felllow members obx and it hasnt made a peep since.

I had something similar on my exhaust but it was due to a heat shield rattling(stupid exhaust shop bent one installing - they bent it back but it wasn't the same and rattled).

The aft part of the mid brace is the culprit. The replacement mid braces invert the channel to face down away from the car and that would definitely free up the necessary room to avoid the rattle, but if your car is lowered it will become the lowest point under the vehicle for scraping.

I took a slightly different approach and had the center part plasma cut, welded, and re-sprayed. I probably lost a tiny bit of rigidity, but it's 1/8" plate so I doubt it's going to make any substantial difference. This gave me more than enough clearance.

Note the two humps left and right of the resonator - that is normally connected all the way across.
