Hey if you guys could do us a huge favor. Swapping to the new site had some of the product listings populate old data. So I've already been fixing things that are kind of odd, such as products listing backorder dates from 3 months ago.

MS6 Skidtray page doesn't load the big product picture when loading the page. Clicking the thumbnails works though.

Tested with Chrome and IE8 (lol)

I do like the new site and everything but I would appreciate things like working/installable/available cams or intake manifold or exhaust manifold or injector seals or injectors or.....list goes on and on.

Basically I wish Corksport would put the same effort they put into "brand image" as they did their actual products. SURE supplied nice boxes and had a cool site but the lack of quality did them no good.

Before all the Corksport "followers" start bashing me, I am NOT saying they are anything like SURE. Just stating that they need to focus on quality control /engineering more than they need a new website. They have a ton of potential, they just need to grab ahold of it and run.

I agree. Our engineering team though is not the same people doing our webdesign/sales/or marketing. Just like our sales/marketing web design aren't the people doing the shipping either. Or warehouse work.

Nonetheless, I still agree, and as the blog should say, we aren't just focusing on a new site, this is us trying to use it as a turning point to get the new parts development program and process kicked off.

I know they are not the same department but it is the same money. I do look forward to seeing Corksport grow and taking on challenges others have yet to try for mass public release such as the cams.

Do you honestly believe a person hired in marketing and web design should be involved in engineering? Besides, we all need a people person to talk to. Engineers are not good at dealing with customers.

Well I think the point is Corksport as a company is throwing resources into revamping the website and image instead of throwing those resources into R&D and quality control. I get that you can do both and I don't know what their operating budget looks like. That being said I don't think the point was that the web design guys need to get in the lab and start working.

How many of you guys remember the old logo? I used to buy goodies for my Miata WAY back when.

It's killer to see a vendor hang around for the long haul. We all know Corksport has had it's ups and downs, but resilience is one of the ingredients that sets them apart.

With all the people I see going to new platforms and upgrading to "fast" cars, this gives me hope that the genpu I bought a year ago will still see new products and upgrades in the future.

I don't know how Corksport should allocate their funds exactly.

The money all comes from the same thing, but it's not like they can re-allocate money. If I'm tasked with working on a new website for the quarter, then I'm tasked with that. Unless they want to fire a few of the web / sales / marketing etc. team, in order to pay more engineers, it doesn't really work. Lol.

The web redesign was done almost entirely by the team of people already here, already getting paid, so it wasn't like we spent money on a new site that could have gone towards product development. If that makes sense.

I do appreciate the feedback though. Maybe I'll tell the owner he should hire a new engineer and I'll leave. Ha.

Yes. It deleted some accounts made in the past 3 months. If yours was made during that time, and won't let you login, or show that it exists, or do a password reset, then just re-create it with the same info as before, and email me. I can then link old reward points to the account.

Need to report a problem on the new website. Some of the navigation does not work right. On my windows 7 work computer, I can click on a picture to navigate down the various levels, but I cannot use the navigation tabs to go to page 2, 24 items per page, etc. The search function doesn't seem to work either.

The navigation works fine on my iPhone but I want the bigger screen of the computer.
I have not tried it on any other Windows based computers.

What browser are you in on the windows 7 machine so we can try to reproduce it?
