@The Nut how many g/s did you get in the top end from this intake vs your old? impressions? the ecu cover really necessary to be removed?

243 to 295 now. It's fucking awesome. Yes, the ECU cover doesn't fit with the factory battery box even bored out to move it over as far to the right as possible. I'll have a full review coming as soon as I'm done tuning for it. My tuner has been extremely busy but I hopefully will be done and ready to do my write up in a couple weeks.

Awesome, thanks. I've been seeing pretty good numbers 245-260 range with my aem but wanna upgrade and also I need the space for a cc lol. cai's don't lend well to cc placement..

CorKSport & JBR & Matt Damon's all give you different mounting options in case CAI. But this new CS 3" is def worth every penny. I was getting such low g/s #'s cause Cobb's SRI & TIP has a lot of 90* turns + oiled filter. Didn't stop me from making 300whp though. Excited to see how much more I can get out of her. Like I said before, full write up to come when tuning is done.

Haha yes they do have quite a bit of options, but space is tight with a fmic and cai.

I have installed two of these already and there is no way to keep the ecu cover on unless you want your battery box to be squished. If you mod the coupler to the turbo it might work. This intake maximizes the available room you have. A FMIC might have fitment issues.

I don't think the battery box will fit if a beaner is installed since it pushes the intake closer to the battery box.

You also need to take care on how you attach the filter since there is a groove on the inside.

Overall it is a great intake that needs a black Tip.

Yea I wasn't looking to do any modding to the kit just wanted to see if the ecu cover could be kept, to keep the ecu protected as much as possible. I'm not looking to get a smaller battery box or moving the ecu on top of it so I do believe this would be the biggest intake for the size constraints, thanks, I'll be pulling the trigger on one of these really soon, just gotta figure out what occ kit(s) to buy so I can do those at once along with DP.

from the product release pictures the intake shouldn't interfere with a fmic as long as the hot pipe isn't routed through the drivers side.

+1 for the black tip... I'm gonna end up painting it as well.

Which is exactly where corksports FMIC goes. Can anyone confirm fitment with the CS FMIC?

I too would like to see a pic of this with a CS fmic as the routing is similar to mine.

Also no offense but I think the price is a bit high, I can get an HTP 3in intake for ~250 or a 4in for ~300 so what advantages does this have over that?

CS 3" intake is true 3" internal diameter & fits with OEM battery box

If you look on htp website the 3" intake has a maf ID of 2.8xx

I wouldn't say pointless but the gains would more likely be minimal. For the Pu, the Corksport intake has better fitment than the other options.
