Are ball joints replaceable? One thing I def don't like about SPC BJS, they are running at the very edge of their adjustment on lowering springs so the BJ is at a hard angle. I like the adjustment plate concept. Might as well add BJ info to product page, because I won't be last one asking.

Considering the target audience for these I'm surprised the camber is only adjustable to -2.0. Autocross and road course will often see camber up to -2.5ish. Some castor adjustment would have been nice too....

What's the cost to replace the ball joint section? I'm guessing that since it's adjustable it's also removable and folks will want to replace just the BJ and not the whole arm.

If the camber measurement they've listed is with a stock ride height car, then the range will change if the car is lowered, the SPCs were only 1.5° negative/positive at stock ride height (according to their documentation). I would assume that most of us who autocross or participate in road course events would already be lowered a smidgen.

As for the ball joint replacement, I was curious about that yesterday as well and also wanted to know if they were a quality joint, and not some doorman stuff that'll wear out in 5000 miles.

Honestly, I'm just happy that somebody is making something for the Speed6!!

Right now I think it's important to note that we're just asking questions for clarity and there's no bashing going on! Inquiring minds want to know & all that....

For camber it would appear the real question is what can be achieved when on the car. SPC's specs do indicate +/- 1.5*, but when you install em oriented properly and on a good working ride height, as opposed to any stanced bullshit, we've seen -2.5* and even beyond.

That said, the request is for clarity on the specs here- what's that -2.0 mean- is it like SPC's 1.5, or is it a hard wall best you can hope for number? For me it makes a difference between a fresh set of SPC's or a new set of UCA's!

Answer to the first question:

"If the ball joint fails in the first 2 years it will be replaced. If it fails after the 2 years then CS will offer new ball joints at an affordable price. "

Still trying to get info on the adjustment of -2 camber.

I know on lowered suspension, I can barely get -1.5 out of SPCs. They are at limit.

Definitely another good question Corksport, at what ride height can the arms hit -2.0 degrees of camber? Stock? Lowered on your springs?

I am pretty sure the orientation of the ball joint can change the range. You might need to turn it 180° to get you in that upper range. With lowered suspension, you should have already gained some negative camber. I've seen mine over -3° on the alignment rack when moving things around, there's a lot of range in the spc's.

If not that, I would look for bent suspension.

Hey guys i'm looking to fix coilovers on my MS6 this summer but for the camber is it better to fix SPC's or the CORKSPORT Upper Control Arm to get camber on my car ? I'm not sure which one is better.

Thanks for the help!!
