O2 placement on short downpipe

I'm wondering if anyone has any pics of a CS short (if it's different) downpipe installed on a Gen 1 MS3. I'm concerned about the o2 sensor's possible interference with my cpe manifold's ewg port. The catted dp I have installed now hugs the alternator very closely, and I'm hoping the CS does something similar.

As much as I would love to have one for my engine bay, I am going for a sleeper look.
Maybe one day I'll throw my stock ugly ass shields away and break down and get one.

Well shit man, your right. All that boost from the puppy keeps blowing the tubes off. I tighten that clamp every few days. Might be time to invest in some CS Tubes and clamps?

I was pushing those shitty hoses off when I had nothing but a cat-back and an OTS tune that was pushing something like 17psi. Ahh, the good ole days.

I am running 20psi with them, they do alright. Keeps me from over boosting, since they leak so bad, ha ha

BTW @littleloogy; (dont know how to tag people) how does it run now vs when you had it before? Boost spikes better or worse? Hows power uptop vs downlow? Happy with the ceramic coating? Think its worth it? And how does it sound now?

But seriously I am happy you are happy with YOUR new downpipe.... sounds good, and looks good. Hope the car is more fun to drive now! (smashes face on desk wishing he would have manned up and put the downpipe on his Red MS3)

EDIT: did you use a new O2 sensor? Big reason I didnt want to tackle this was the stocker likes to weld itself in and fuck it self up on the removal.

When I put my CS turbo in, yes the O2 sensor was over torqued/cross threaded. I was NATORed an O2 sensor, which was installed in your DP.
