Not 100% sure on the volumes, I'll check with Brydon. I'm positive the volume on the silicone was quite a bit higher (although they might be closer once the silicone deforms). I'll make sure we do volume on the next test if we didn't last time. However, the flow is going to be a bit more of a limiter than volume ever would be.

It is not air tight. The hole to put the ECU wiring through is quite large. It has about the same open space as the factory box.

I was wondering if there was a way to do a louvered top or something to vent the box. Or possibly vent the back side so it is not visible. How about leaving most of the back cut out with foam or some other "filter" between the box and battery to let it vent but still keep the dirt out. I'm picturing a 1/4" large cell foam. Just an idea to tackle the venting.

Thanks for addressing the battery box, the ECU and battery are covered for a good reason and most seem to disregard that... I would still like to see a hard partition between them but beggars and choosers, intake looks nice; though strangely I was hoping for something a bit different audio clips of this turbine in use?

You can actually use some split loom and polyken high temp tape to cover the exposed wiring if you no longer have the ECU cover.
