Default '06 MS6

So I was looking online at a used MS6 and looked at the free carfax. On it there were a couple listings at different times for 'dealer ecm reprogram'. I'm guessing this is the reprogramming that decreases power, but do you think the owner took it back in to have it reflashed because of the change? Yeah, this is kind of random, but I'm trying to sort it out. Thanks for any help.

There were a few ECU reflashes from Mazda, none of which concern you unless you're intending to stay stock.

Considering the poor quality of the stock tune, and the availability of tuning options ranging from simple plug & play HyperTech (HT) or the ever so wonderful Cobb AccessPORT (AP), I would not worry about the ECU flashes on the Carfax, and pay attention to any mechanical issues.

There is a great new car buying thread here- http://www.mazdaspeedforum.org/forum/foru...needed-100577/
